with extra's 5,6 and 9 you have to write them as this extra9 extra9_L0 extra9_L1 extra9_L2

no the model was exported with those textures so the model has saved those textures as the only ones it recognizes. if you rename it then the model wont recognize it but this only applies to when your importing something.once you've opened it you can change names of textures and what not. when importing into zmodeler you have the option of png,dds and tga. this doesn't apply to what the game will use but what reccomended textures the model will uses when importing.

this is great news seeing as i've already made a tiller

i would say everything is dne correctly on here except for the bumpers. you should of seperated the bumper into three views. left,right, and front/back. that what a perfectionist would of done but none the less great tutorial

lol i find it funny how the goverment is more worried about some nerds on a computer then the murders and rapist roaming the streets day to day. everyday more and more non volient offenders are sent to jail for petty crimes while when it comes to actual crimes that we should be stopping it goes ignore and side swipped by ^^things more important^^. i mean really whats so bad about people downloading movie's and music and games online. companies are still making a butt load of money of their product even if it's pirated. i think bills like this just help the greedy really. not everybody can enjoy the luxurious of life cause not everybody is loaded with money. i think bills like this really restrict creative intergrity of things. artist today are bombard by bill after bill which really just restrict the creations of things. if someone is to be downloading or hacking into bank of america i say let them. what good have they done........

go over to gpm. i have a tutorial there on how to map els. it should help you in importing textures and getting this right when begining a project. that is until i can port it over to here on lcpdfr

hopefully soon i will be making a video tutorial and i written one to explain all of this just like in my how to map els tut on gpm. it will be in-depth and easy to understand. this will come as soon as i fix my desktop. LOL anyone want to help me, cause the sooner my computer is fixed the sooner i an start helping those in need. also you never want to attach the lightbar to the body. out of personal experience it's a bad thought and option to attach it to the body because then you can't move it if your unsatifed later and if you try to detach it will take a LONG time to get all the polys seperated. also as moonshine stated constantly save your stuff that your working in z3d files so if you make a mistake you can go back and fix it without having to start over

again i'll repeat myself since some of you didnt really understand me. what i was saying was that yes it's illegal to charge someone to get the mod as in after the mod is complete. you cant do that, but what you can do is take small amounts of money to inspire some artistic motivation some you can get the mod you want to be made after that it has to be made free to the public if you do want to release it. all the money is for is the sevice there providing, wether that be converting it or making it. your not charging for the parts or the model but the sevice they're providing of putting that model ingame or getting it made. do understand now guys?

i think you guys got the wrong idea. what he was sayin was that someone payed him to make the model. after that i'm sure he's going to release it to the public for free of charge. it's ok to accept money for making mods but it's not ok to accept money in order for someone else to gain access to the mod

lol i laugh my ass off when people with super computer and shit cant run the game without crashing but i can and i have a super shitty computer my specs are a intel e2220 @2.4GHz dual core processor intergraded graphic card i think around 3 or 4gb or ram 160 hard drive i've never crashed because of els and i can run gta 4 for hours at a time without it crashing only time it crashes is when i have a corrupt model or too many mods in
