  1. Moving to the support section. Can you try and be a bit more specific about what the actual problem is with the taser? Does it not show up? Does it show up and then disappear?
  2. Moving this to the support section. Does everything else in the mod work properly?
  3. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by G17 Media staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  4. The reason for a PM would be to avoid spilling conversations like these into a public forum. This problem you're having is between you and Harper, not anyone else. That being said, I'm going to lock THIS post. If you still need some assistance, you can create an appropriate post, in the appropriate section and we'll do our best to assist you.
  5. I'm just going to sort this into the support section where it belongs. Looks like the problem is resolved anyway.
  6. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA IV Content Modifications forum. Please pay attention when posting.
  7. Moving this to clean up our messy forums. :P
  8. MODERATOR NOTICE Please try and pay attention when posting a thread regarding where they go. GTA IV mod threads belong in the mod section. Moving
  9. That's a paddlin'. On a more serious note, be careful, sir.
  10. MODERATOR NOTICE This doesn't belong in this section. Moving this to GTA IV Content Modifications. Try to post in the correct area next time, please.
  11. MODERATOR NOTICE Right you are. Thread moved.
  12. I don't use SNT so that solution wouldn't apply to me, and that "workaround" shouldn't be necessary. I'll have to avoid domestic calls in that area until the spawn points are changed.
  13. I can't decide if this entire post is a troll attempt or not. In any case, he answered his own question a long time ago when he said single core CPUs are not supported. A Pentium 4 is a single core CPU. Game won't work, time to buy a new computer. That's the end of discussion more or less.
  14. Can you give us any further information about your computer in terms of specs? Particularly graphics card and CPU would be helpful. And what does the windows error say?
  15. Video recording will lag your system depending on how hard the game is to render. Turning down the details will minimize the lag effect. As far as simple FPS monitoring goes: No, there shouldn't be any lag issues with it. It takes up mere megabytes of memory to record and display something like that.
  16. Yes, it is a request. You don't have to use the word 'request' to make it one. I'm moving this thread to the appropriate section, too.
  17. I've noticed this problem myself at a building somewhere near the hospital on the first island. I'm using GTA IV even though I have EFLC. I found EFLC crashed more often than GTA IV when running the mods I had.
  18. MODERATOR NOTICE Moved to support section.
  19. Can't say I've had that issue before, partner. I would however consider not frisking people on traffic stops until this gets fixed for you. If I had to guess, they might have their own separate algorithm to determine whether or not they have a gun (which factors in to why the person might run or pull a gun on you when you walk up to their window) which may interfere with the normal frisk algorithm. You shouldn't be frisking people on traffic stops anyway. If they're have no warrants you either write them up or let them go, and if they have a warrant or no license, you should be taking them out at gun/taser point, not politely asking them to stop walking and put their hands on their head. I do miss frisking them after, but it breaks the handcuff animation, so I don't do it anymore.
  20. They will most likely continue to support LCPD:FR for GTAIV, but I don't think we have the manpower to properly develop and test both, so I'd imagine after a test run of a GTA V mod that G17 would probably stick with that. I can only speculate though. Also while I know we couldn't possibly port every single bit of LCPD:FR over, I'm sure the C# scripts are more than salvageable. This means that while a new LCPD:FR (or SAPD:FR if you want) will take some time, G17 will have a significant advantage going into it.
  21. Happens all the time to me when I get the helicopter involved, that's why I don't use it much. I use NOOSE even less.
  22. I miss frisking people before putting them in the patrol car. Takes away liability and danger to you.
  23. Reminder for everyone: According to Olanov, you can play the actual GTA IV missions in LCPD:FR if you launch the mod after you accept the mission. Mind you if you complete it and try to go on another mission, it will crash. The reason for this would possibly be to shoot in-game videos.
  24. There is supposed to be an .ini file with 20 car injection lines that you may customize, I've never touched them personally. I think the two versions of TrafficFlow would probably offset each other, but I've heard of people running TrafficFlow and TrafficControl at the same time. I tried it and it didn't work for me, but others report no crashing.
