  1. I believe what you are seeing is the pistol being holstered, but the shotgun model being brought out too early, which makes a kinda weird effect, this should only happen when you are switching from a pistol to any other weapon, such as the shotgun, I recommend just quick-switching to unarmed and then switching to any other gun manually, it is still pretty fast.
  2. awesome mod, always use it, although maybe a in a future update add the option to choose what weapons you get from a police trunk, for example, when I grab weapons from the trunk, I have to remove the flashlights with SNT, as if I didn't, when arresting a suspect, while spamming E the flashlight will give the poor sod I am arresting an epilepsy attack. (btw epilepsy is no joke, ik that.)
  3. "Hi! Billy Mays here with Overlay Away! I used to have to use third person almost all the time with LSPDFR! No More! With Overlay Away, you can choose whatever glasses or hat you wish and not be blinded by low resolution bullshit! But Don't take my word for it!" *Guest speaker moves in* "I used to be blinded by annoying hats and aviators when in first person mode, it made first person shootouts a nightmare! But now I can use first person mode as much as I wish, thanks Overlay Away!" *Billy Mays moves back in* "Download free now!"
Looks awesome, but at the moment, I am unable to play without crashing within the first minute of launch
  4. Looks awesome, I would download it, however I have had nothing but crashes with LukeD's CalloutsV and he explained that the crashes were most likely due to the API in general, so I'm going to wait a while.
  5. awesome, I was playing around with it a bit, really adds to immersion, just gotta find a decent glock 17 to replace the pistol.
  6. you could actually include the iaa male agent also, as he has four belt options, a holster with gun, a holster without gun, a gun belt with holster with gun, and a gun belt with holster with no gun. btw, to save you time: the iaa agent is: s_m_m_ciasec and is located in x64e.rpf and I assume that if the cop is wearing the stab vest nothing will change, right?
  7. yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, aaaand yes
  8. well that makes it easier then XD
  9. Helpful tutorial, however, this for GTA IV, and this sub-forum is for GTA V
  10. LukeD is making a mod called More Control V in which he claims that surrendering to the police manually is a planned feature for the mod, so if you want this, then keep a close eye over that mod.
  11. As far as I know, and I don't mod personally, however I do claim to know a lot about how the GTA V file system works, if you were to have a vehicle model added at this point in time, it would most likely be unanimated, and almost every component of the vehicle would be incorrectly placed, resulting in a horrible mess, also, the lights would not be in the correct place, what it would look like, essentially, is every part of the current vehicle, except the chassis, badly attached onto the custom model you imported. If anyone knowledgeable of this was to know away around this, by all means tell us. EDIT: Also, an entire sentence in upper case letters does not help by any means.
  12. yeah, who uses comic sans XD Oh, by the way, does anyone know of a way to rebind the LSPDFR keys, because I cannot stand X being force callout.
  13. Okay, cool, thanks, I may try lowering my graphics settings and such to see if that speeds up performance and reduces crashes, If it works I will update this post for anyone else who has a similar issue. EDIT: Yeah, lowering my graphics settings a bit has certainly helped.
  14. This is the log from today, I assume it gives all the info on loaded plugins and such. RagePluginHook.log
  15. Awesome mod, but I am having plugin crashing issues with it, mainly, when I force callout, by pressing X (I cannot fucking wait until we can rebind the LSPDFR keybinds.) If one of your callouts loads, it says so in the bottom left, but immediately after that, LSPDFR crashes, and I have to reload the plugin, and often, load up another save to do a cleanup. And by the way, I end up accidentally pressing X a hell of a lot, as it was bound to finkone's PoliceRadio. Other than this, awesome plugin, keep up the awesome work, and I can't wait for more plugins, like Muggings, etc.
  16. Thanks for sharing the issues with us, and awesome new feature, a radio and computer are the perfect couple for policing in Los Santos, keep up the great work guys. :D
  17. Great to know what the issues are, even if someone like me can hardly understand them, XD But yeah, keep up the good work and take whatever time you need to make this as awesome as it sounds. literally love you guys :D
  18. yes, I see your point, and It does work well on gaming community websites, I know this as I was a part of several communities featuring this website feature. I just though that, considering the website was going for a more "community focused design" then a shoutbox could be implemented if it was received well.
  19. Most people should know what a shoutbox is, it is basically a global text chat, in which any user can type, add photos, etc, this is employed on a few sites already, and really does help to bring the community together a bit more, it would also help newer players look for support from fellow community members, and may avoid threads like this: I believe this would add a quicker, friendlier support from the community, because not many people will deliberately go out of their way to answer small threads that have a few words for an answer, before the thread is left to sit there and rot... I know at least one community in which the shoutbox is used often as a friendly community tool for a bit of banter, and to help out people with questions that need answering, for example, if there was a shoutbox, I would ask "how do I change the thingy above my name?" instead of making an entire thread dedicated to "the thingy above my name..."
  20. hahahahahaha I never knew it was possible to make an entire website for a mod that has less enjoyment potential than laughing at all the bullshit written on that website, I'm happy, that website gave me a good laugh...
  21. ohm, okay :( (feeling rather stupid for trying to looks smart when I have no idea how to code/script anything...)
  22. yeah, IMO, the online police station is probably something similar to the aircraft carrier, and yacht from the online missions, and if someone talented was to look into the coding of how it spawns, they could easily replicate it for singleplayer.
