Well, as you can see, I finally decided to make my own NYPD texture for the 1987 Chevy Caprice. I might now redo the Housing Authority one using this one as base. I plan to make now more variations of this paint job.

This is the actual paint job the Portland Police Bureau the 1980's Chevy Caprices had.

As you may know, the other day I uploaded a of a "Portland Police Bureau" 1987 Chevy Caprice. Well, it wasn't the real paint job that the Portland Police Caprices had in the 1980's but an older one used, as far I know, in Dodge Diplomats and Chevy Malibus (I was already aware of that but I liked it more).

About the ambulance, one like that can partially seen seen in the old episodes of Cops, set in Portland in 1989.

This punk tried to escape from spending some years in the pen; big mistake...

Several NYPD officers and detectives were dispatched to the park along Castle Drive early last evening following a short pursuit that lead Highway Patrol officer John Joaquin up a pedestrian walkway. The driver crashed the vehicle, which was originally to be stopped for a missing license plate, into a stone abutment and the two occupants attempted to flee the vehicle. HP officer Joaquin managed to tackle and arrest the driver as backup from the local precinct arrived on scene. Witnesses say precinct officers managed to locate the other occupant and after a short foot chase, the suspect jumped the railing into the water and attempted to drown himself. One officer jumped in after him and prevented this from happening. More details to follow.
