When you use ALT-P, after selecting your character and vehicle, you will be spawned near the place you first pressed ALT-P. Meaning, if you go into the parking lot of a PD, you might spawn on the road just next to it. :) By the way, glad you fixed your crashing problem.

Update your game to 1.0.7.0 and try again after that.

To test this, I have used my neighbour's gaming computer (roughly the same as mine, except he has an ATI card), I just copy-pasted my mods in his game, if you see what I mean. Nothing went wrong and after roughly 1+ hours of playing, everything was still in place. Taxis were not a problem.

It's caused by NVidia, all the NVidia cards do that. ATI cards have no such problem.

ALT+Y toggles the hazard flashers. A problem with ELS is if you pressed ALT a few minutes/hours earlier, the next key you'll press that is recognized by ELS will be caught. Example: ALT+H (arrest) Y (arrest) now when you enter your car, the hazard will come on, it's a odd phenomena to explain though.

To be honest, I wouldn't care at all. I'd rather play the game with no voice at all (à la Vice City ) and with features than no features with voices. I mean gameplay should go first, and you know how much more awesome it will get if we ever get to understand that part of programming. We need to focus on functionality rather than prettiness. Indeed it must come as well, but something like a voice accent change is just very common in GTA IV itself. My suggestion, try and implement features, then try and implement pretty effects for it. :thumbsup:

We can add WAV voice overs into the game easily, as shown with "Mission success" sound. We just need a person with a pretty voice =)
