  1. FinKone has a Coroner and Tow Truck mod being tested, and I have a speed radar mod what marks vehicles with various flags, including owner wanted. The chance that a vehicle is marked can be changed in the configuration file.
  2. I've just finished up my exams for school, and have a few months off. I need something to do, and developing mods that go along with LSPDFR(such as my turn tires and speed radar) has been fun so far. If you guys have any suggestion for new mods that you'd like to see that enchance the gameplay with LSPDFR, leave them as a reply to this thread, and I may create them!

This replaces the Park Ranger livery with a fictional LSFD battalion one. This was made mainly for use with my firefighter mod. Read the readme for installation instructions.
  3. Either one works. The lines you put in startup.rphs are all run as console commands on startup. It's just easier than typing them all manually every time you start GTA.
  4. Type LoadPlugin SpeedRadar.dll twice. The second time verifies that you want to load it, because the plugin isn't verified.
  5. Latest version adds vehicle flags.
  6. https://github.com/StrayDev/SpeedRadar Feel free to edit it, but please don't re-distribute.
  7. Try typing ReloadAllPlugins in console?
  8. Run it as administrator, yes.

Lightweight and simple to use speed radar for LSPDFR.. Uses the same concept as Braveheart's from GTA IV. Whipped it up for personal use with LSPDFR, and thought I might as well share it. Read the included readme file for details on how to use and install. Thanks for downloading! NOTICE: If using traffic policer, both radar mods use F5 as the default key. Be sure to change this before playing or you will get an error.
  9. It will use the RAGE Plugin Hook, which will come with LSPDFR when you download it.
  10. They're not being s... What timer? Still don't see it.
  11. For reference, I have a 750 Ti, and I run 45-60fps on GTA V with the default video settings, depending on the area. In the city with all of the buildings, cars, peds, and objects, its around 45-50. In less populated areas like paleto and senora, its closer to 60. EDIT: If you're curious about GTA IV, I play with CryENB v3 (medium quality, still looks great) at around 40fps, dropping to 30 depending on where I am. (Shadows and reflection on low quality, everything else at default) If you can, I'd recommend saving for the 970, because as stated before, its a beast for the price. If you can't, the 750 Ti is still a good card.
  12. Possibly. Try using Arrest Warrant without my mod installed.
  13. If you're playing on the latest game version with the latest scripthook, the mod won't work. This is because ScriptHookVDotNet changed it's text methods, so the script crashes. Unfortunately, I don't have the old source code for the script, so I can't upload a new version for you guys. Within the next week(hopefully), I'll have a stable version built on the RAGE Plugin Hook for you guys to play. Sorry!
  14. This is caused because the text methods for ScriptHookVDotNet were changed. Unfortunately, I don't have my old source code so I can update it for you guys. Within the next week(hopefully), I'll have a new version built with the RAGE Hook. Sorry!
  15. "I was gonna buy me a piece of burger from burger king"
  16. Actually, modders are a very small portion of the people who play GTA V, compared to those who play online. They'd rather suit those who play online, who most of would definitely support them trying to prevent mods, than our small modding community.
  17. The protections against modding are aimed more at those people who use the mods online, rather than single player modders. They can't completely stop us from modding, it may just take some time. If they didn't protect against GTA Online modding, it'd be ruined. I personally enjoy GTA Online, and I'm happy they're doing what they can to slow down/prevent modding online. Until then, does anyone know how to play the steam version of GTA V without it updating? I try using offline mode, but it tells me to update before I can play it.
  18. Joe Biden's son, Beau Biden, died of Brain Cancer last week. I hope the best for his family, he seemed like a great guy.
  19. I'll look into all those. For now, you can press the insert key which reloads all scripts placing you off duty, but you'll still be ignored by everyone, etc..
  20. New version is up, 10 minutes early because why not.
  21. Is it alright if I include the link to this in the readme for my firefighter mod? Great texture!
