StraysCallouts is an LSPDFR API plugin, made to improve the playing experience by adding more callouts. Installation and use instructions are included in the readme. Current Callouts: Mugging Suspicious Person Fight in progress Gang Related Violence Do not load this plugin using the RAGE Hook's console, as it is loaded by LSPDFR.
  1. The audio file must be located somewhere in the Police Scanner folder. If you want to use a sound file in GTA V that isn't currently in the folder, use OpenIV to export the sound file you want, and add it to the police scanner folder (renaming it also, since most audio files have random names). Then, when you release the mod, just add the file to your archive and have the user add it to the scanner folder.
  2. This is due to Rockstar's latest protections against modding. I'll try to work around it.
  3. Download version 1.1.0.
  4. If you want the units to be in MPH, "RadarUnits=MPH" without the quotes. If you're not getting flags, there should be a flag chance field towards the bottom of the configuration file. Set that number to about 30. The higher that number is, the more rare flags are.
  5. I have no idea what the LSPDFR API will have to offer. LMS said it has basically the same functionality as the LCPDFR API, but I never worked with that, so I have no idea. If it allows me to get vehicle flags from the computer, then yes.
  6. We're already in contact about our ideas so that we don't overlap. I've removed a couple callouts from my plugin already, so that they don't overlap with his plugin with the same callouts.
  7. Just finished adding a fully animated repair vehicle function, and a nice new broken down vehicle callout to go along with it!
  8. Officer down sounds good. I've decided not to include traffic stop assistance, since that's FinKone's thing. Another thing you can look forward to in the release is controller support, as that's already done.
  9. While in a police car, you'll often hear the dispatcher speaking. It's very quiet, however.
  10. Exciting, but nothings as exciting as the API. Can't wait.
  11. The LSPDFR API will most likely allow me to use it's dispatch, so I'll most likely do it the same way LSPDFR does it.
  12. Working on the traffic stop callout now. Also, I forgot to mention, there is dispatch audio for callouts.
  13. I'm running out of ideas for callouts. Leave any callout suggestions you may have in this thread, and I'll see if I can work on them!
  14. Exactly this. If an author needs to push out a minor update to fix a game breaking error, it could take days to verify. Perform a virus scan on the virus yourself if you think people will try to infect you. From an author's standpoint, I HATED the manual verification system. It was extremely inconvenient, and was a pain to make any minor changes. If a file has a virus, it's often removed rather quickly once someone discovers it.
  15. I had this issue. I had "https://lcpdfr.com" as my chrome homepage. My issue was with the https. If you're using https, don't. Use http://lcpdfr.com. Fixed the problem for me!
  16. Hopefully that'll take a load off my shoulder. Playing with the LCPDFR API while transferring from Java to C#, it was a great set of tools. Can't wait for the API :)
  17. I had no idea an API was coming, but if there is, definitely! Thanks for informing me of this :)
  18. I've recently started to work on adding more callouts to Grand Theft Auto V, for use with LSPDFR. This is where I'm at: Edit: Some callouts were removed to prevent overlap with LukeD's CalloutsV. Currently implemented: MuggingGang ActivityFight in progressReckless driverDispatch audio for callouts!Fully animated vehicle repair!Planned to be implemented (leave suggestions as a reply): Suspicious PersonKidnapping in progressMore!Issues to overcome before release: Getting a safe spawn position for callouts only likes to work in the city. Not near the desert or mountains.Finish planned features.Current testers: DCP1293, the master of breaking everything, whether its possible or not.TheNorthernAlexStevetrackboyz55Leave any suggestions you have in the comments. This will probably take a while to complete, and almost just as long to test.
  19. This exactly. The lower the flag chance, the more flags you'll get. There will still be times where you don't get a whole lot, because it's completely random.
  20. FinKone is working on one, which is currently in the testing stages. Hopefully it'll be out soon!
  21. Tried it already while messing around, it's worse than the CPR animation, if you've heard how much of a pain that is. The person is constantly sliding left and it looks awful. (Not that there isn't a workaround) If you haven't found it, it's something like combat@drag_ped.
