  1. I love LSPDFR so far, it's looking great! I also love how it seems to be a lot more stable *knock on wood* than LCPDFR. I have one thing to mention though... I realize it's in its early stages and everything, but for the love of god, it needs customizable controls. As it is right now, it's a little awful for me personally. LSPDFR is coming along great, but the controls... God almighty! I like to play with an XbOne controller, with the alternate handbrake (A button). It would mean the world to me if I could have full control over what button controls which command in order to eliminate conflicts with other mods, as well as make it work better for me. It's what I absolutely loved about LCPDFR. This has probably been asked before, but it's 4:45 AM, I'm tired, and I just wanted to get this out of the way, because no doubt I'll forget to ask later.
  2. I haven't tried it, but I've seen it. Those crabs are hilarious!

  4. You can do simple animations with Photoshop too. It's not as in-depth, but it works. I wouldn't mind helping you out when I have time. It's been a while since I've done something creative... I'm willing to help out though!
  5. Well, I use a simple Trust Desk Microphone. Cost me like €8,00. For the few times I Skype and voice chat with close friends, it's great. The quality is quite amazing for the price. Only thing is that the mic feels really plastic-y and fragile. But regardless of that, as long if you don't throw it around all over the place it should be fine. The recording quality is great.
  6. I'm waiting for someone to buy me this game because I'm broke as usual. I need a new backpack. Anywho, I died only once. Knowing me, that's quite an achievement.

  8. Congratulations! I brought cake, but you probably don't want any. Have a good one! o/ If anyone asks, your name is Jerry now.
  9. I've been getting this ever since I (manually) installed LCPDFR 1.0d Fairly sure it's LCPDFR, since I can play for hours and hours upon end with nothing going wrong without the mod active, but when I'm in my uniform, the game feels the need to crash after 10 or 15 minutes. The mod itself is working fine so far, no errors or whatsoever. Instead, the whole game just crashes. Yes, my PC is capable of running it, no I don't use vehicle mods not anymore at least, seeing as they just caused problems. I do have a few other mods, but I doubt they would cause issues, seeing as a lot of people use them without any problems. I play with the following mods: CryENB (High-end setting + my own tweaks) HD Street and sidewalk textures Simple Native Trainer Simple Fuel Script PoliceHelper (with all world events turned off) Trafficflow V5 R2 My LCPDFR and Scripthook logs give no errors, just the same old warnings about audio files and something about a custom content manager regarding pedestrians. I can safely say that this is starting to piss me off. With 1.0c it was the script crashing and giving errors, now it's the entire game crashing. But only when LCPDFR is active! What can I do? Am I overlooking something?
  10. Oh, one thing I just had to add about kids (especially the younger ones) is how everything magically becomes sticky and ew-looking when they touch it. Mega pro tip: Never let your 6 year old nephew near your Xbox controllers. He managed to make a mess out of both of them, and chew off the coating of the thumb sticks. Don't ask why. No way I'm letting him near my new Xbox One controller, no sir. Nobody's touching that.
  11. I just wonder what kind of a man does such a thing. Those cops were men with families and wives. All of this just for revenge. What's even more sad is that the gunman didn't even have such an extreme criminal record and killed himself after the murder. At least the two officers probably didn't see it coming and didn't have to look their killer in the eyes. A real shame, all this violence.
  12. The Taxi Bug is a known issue with GTA IV for some people. You could try this mod: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/trafficload-f9780 It may or may not solve the taxi bug, but it's worth a try. as for Traffic Flow not refreshing cars, could you be more detailed about the "Refreshing cars" bit?
  13. Welcome! And a happy new year to you too!
  14. Please don't hold it against those ambulance drivers. They're the most dedicated paramedics I have ever seen! Sacrificing 20 lives, lampposts and traffic lights just to save one person! How brave.
  15. Like a bipolar, moodshifty girlfriend, amirite?
  16. Is it REALLY the car mods that's causing this? Even if it's only one, a well made one by someone loved by the community? Because that would truly suck.
  17. The message you get in the options menu after creating/editing the commandline.txt/launch options is normal. As for the error when quitting GTA IV, that's ignorable if you have LCPDFR installed, last I time I heard. GTA IV is just a lousy port, so you should take everything it says with a grain of salt. Or more like a whole jar. If the game runs fine, it's fine.
  18. Does that mean there's no fix possible for the random errors that cause the mod to crash, and those NullReferenceException errors? ("Object reference not set to an instance of an object")? Because in 1.0d I've still been having these. And from what I could find out they were known bugs. A real bummer. Either way, those bugs aren't going to stop me from playing and tweaking until I get it right. I'm way too stubborn to let a few crashes keep me down
  19. I agree. Especially on a controller, the new QAM is annoying. Especially having to switch tabs with LeftShoulder (LB) I like the look of the QAM, it's just that a selection wheel is much, much better when it comes to quick menus, at least on controllers. -- Also, I can't help myself, but I have to get this out of my system. I really like the new features, but is it wrong of me to say that they're a waste of time and resources? I'd rather see a longer list of bug fixes for known bugs, than a list of new features. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean any offense, but it just doesn't make sense to buy expensive paintings if you don't have any walls. You have to build walls before you can hang the paintings down. If you get what I mean. Basically what I'm saying is, I feel as if there's too little effort put into fixing bugs. Yes, I know the game itself already becomes unstable with a mod such as LCPDFR, and yes, I know it's very difficult to create and maintain, but that's no excuse for adding new features while there's still a list of bugs and errors. Making the mod larger only makes it more difficult to trace the errors down, right?
  20. I don't think I'd be a very good parent anyway. I've got absolutely nothing with kids. I don't feel "aww" for them, or find them cute, unlike most girls and women. Especially my age.

  22. And this is why I don't want to have any kids.
  23. 10 hours? Teach me the ways master! I've had played for no more than an hour because I didn't have time. The script crashed one time, and I had a few errors here and there before my game crashed. Although it was most likely a memory spike in GTA IV itself because of my increase of traffic, and HD textures. Stupid 32-bit limitations...
