So, the paramedics job is to save someone's life, but while they go to save 1 persons life, they end up running over and killing 5 people on the way! Life its a blood bath. I have to put the suspect in the car so he doesn't get smashed the the huge car. Most of the time, im the victim of getting killed. So is there a script, plugin or mod that gives the paramedics some Knowledge of driving XD and that makes both paramedics, driving and passenger get out and help,

    Hello everyone!

As I wrote in my previous posts, I'm pretty new in LCPDFR's community. I know basics about this mod, but I still have much to learn. Even there are many guides and video-tutorials about it, I didn't find something that could guide me from the beginning to the moment, in which I could do rest myself.

I'm looking for a person, who can ,,train'' me in free time about LCPDFR. In it I include starting, basic mods and it's compatibility, standard actions and protocols of officers in Liberty City and more. If You have a free time, and would You like to help me, or even play with me, I would appreciate this.

In this help I prefer chat on Skype or similar communicator, where You could give me instructions what I should do first. It can be done by voice connection, or simply text chat.

I'm 16 years old, so my English probably won't be the best, but I'm good in that language, and I think that we could understand each other without any troubles. For more informations, write to me PM; Write to me if You are ready to help me, and have got willigness, please.

Thank You for Your patience for a newbie.

Since you're better at SA modding I think this is the easiest way to explain it. In Gta San Andreas you need two files for a car. The .txd and the .dff files. The .txd is the texture file. The .dff is the car. It's the same thing in Gta iv. The .wtd is the texture file. The .wft file is the car.

The ini files are responsible for the lighting pattern ingame. Put the files into your ELS folder. To make them actually work you have to edit the _SLOTCONTROL.ini.

    For example:

    Change this:

    [ POLICE ] Status = on File = default_config   to this:   [ POLICE ] Status = on File = police

A lot of topic madea about ELS v8 not working, because the ELS overwrite the LCPDFR's AdvancedHook.dll and that why crash in every 2 min or shorter

Well on GTA4-mods, Carrythxd has a few really nice packs of cars to use (you need a high-end computer, though). I'll look for scripts packs and ENBs and stuff.

Generally, however, if you look around on LCPDFR, you can find insanely nice ped packs (especially LAPD).

Yes, when autosave is enabled, it will automatically restart the game after a crash and go back to where you were when the game crashed.

That autosave what you find that about the game restore when your game is crash, its made a "temporary savegame" and when your game crash this crash reporter restore your gameplay and you can continue where that "savegame" saved

Hi, I think this one might be a little too much but maybe when someone opens up the trunk, take them to a menu or something that lets them take out the weapon of their choice and refill health and all that? Maybe someone decides a shotgun may be better suited so he takes that, but 2 callouts later, he needs an m4 or something? just throwing some ideas out there, would be cool to see.

Also maybe make the resupply and all a bit limited, like x5 heals and x5 resupplies. You would have to return to the PD to resupply your trunk

Anyways, thanks for a great mod, just thought I'd put my idea out there!

And GTAV is even less focused on cops (Very hard to get arrested) so getting necessary voices for LSPDFR could be very difficult

Hi everyone! I'm presenting you my own work called as this topic name.
I thought it would be great if FIA was LCPA juresdiction (like the real JFK airport in NYC and PA of NJ&NY). The nearest police station fits perfectly my story.
    Changed:
Door file in mo_lcpdstation.wdr archive; LCPD logo & signs in am_ap_corporate.wtd archive; LCPD signs [3d] to LCPA [3d] in et_ap_lcpdsign01.wdr archive. I'm newbie in redesigning in 3ds MAX so that all LCPA signs [3d] has white colour. [if you want, you may help me - just write PM]
Known bug: from a distance of arond 50 metres you will see not replaced objects, but they disappear if you go further.
Thank you for your attention! Have a good day!

Not sure if it works with earlier versions, I would think it would.  I have my games updated via Steam.  Try searching GTA4-mods.com for different versions.

You have the scripthook and asi loader installed, if you run LCPDFR you should have these already.

    Good luck!

You can also check out YouTube, There are many people who play LCPD:FR, so you can watch and learn from some of them if you don't exactly know what to do. If you want to look at the controls you can always consult the manual that comes with LCPD:FR (like what ineseri said).

The whole point to LCPD:FR is to have fun being a cop, you don't have to be realistic.. but if you wish, you can. Since Liberty City is fictional YOU make the rules because there are no base rules to follow.

As for clans, people put links in either their signature or on their profile.. You can also look on YouTube as most clans do patrol videos, so that'll give you a basic look on how they operate.

A topic that is not really talked about in the gaming community or even wanted in the real world is paperwork. Oh yes, I am going there girlfriend. I've noticed that many members of the community have a desire to bring added realism to this mod by suggesting the implementation of different player animations, police equipment and so on. Everyone seems to overlook the paperwork aspect of all this and I believe it is a great feature that can add that missing touch but of course as an OPTIONAL FEATURE. Based on the title of this you may be already knowing what's coming, actually writing tickets.

When logging on to the computer there is the options of "Search Database", "Enable ANPR" and "Chat". "Write Ticket" (or something along the lines of that) should be added to the computer options. This would be where you would fill in the blanks. All the necessary fields to fill in would be there such as officer name/badge #, location, offence committed, name of subject that committed the offense, vehicle make/model, amount subject must pay (must be reasonable amount), date/time, etc. I must say that I don't know 90% of the make/ models of the cars in GTA IV so in addition to receiving the drivers name and date of birth, the officer should receive info of the vehicle in the form of vehicle registration (this would make it easier to identify if the vehicle is stolen). All this info would be displayed while writing the ticket. But of course, this should be an optional step in the traffic stop process and simply would exist for the realistic aspect. One more thought: this paperwork idea could be applied to when taking a suspect to jail and processing them.

So there's my two cents. Remember, it's just a suggestion.

Read the LCPDFR Manual. That is a good first step as it lists all features and things you can do. Most of it is Role Play, so use your imagination :) The best advice I can give is to just play it, get a feel for the controls etc.

Also, for clans, look in signatures or on profile pages. We do not allow clan advertising outside of signatures and profiles.
