Reapplied using the process yesterday providing the same github link and a link to my forum post detailing my wip callouts plugin and heard nothing. Tried to contact albo but from experience know he doesn't reply frequently on discord for whatever reason. Able to advise?

For a long time oleg held the monopoly on software/tools used to manipulate files for a couple of games (GTA/ETS citation needed?). That changed for ETS when SCS released their own tools. Oleg's prices for zmodeler are pretty extortionate which is a shame as its a near must for modelling and conversion.

And they would likely heavily lock it into their GTA:O mechanics, meaning heavy level restrictions and general upset for all.

Plus I'm not sure they could get the same level of universality that a mod developed by a third party can offer. A R* owned solution would likely have to fit within GTAV meaning us folk who don't always use american vehicles would be forced to do so.

I'm working on a callouts plugin myself at the minute, And if i can work out a way to keep them fresh and interesting, I'll work some supervisor required callouts in, maybe along the lines of police collision etc.

I think I've made my opinions pretty clear on this topic, I don't understand why people are complaining, if it were halfway through march without any word I'd have a better time understanding, but as we're only just over halfway through February I'm personally not worried at all, the team will release it when they deem its ready, all you have to do is look around every now and then to see someone from the team on every night either reading posts or readying things in the background. Because we don't see the progress doesn't mean it's not being made, they just want to see their hard work finalised before releasing it for use and the best motivation we can give is to respectfully wait rather than complain that it isn't out before the months even up.

Have people asked if an unofficial discord is on the cards? Edit: I've seen the official position on an LSPDFR discord and I understand the reasoning completely, my understanding is that people have attempted unofficial discords but have seen limited success as we cannot advertise it on the server unless its in our signature. I'd love to be on board for an unofficial LSPDFR discord, with a structure closely related in terms of the same rules and regulations as the forum, there's no reason one can't exist and be moderated in a similar fashion.
