LSPDFR 0.5.0
@UnknownBastion Great to see you keeping an eye on this thread and interacting with us all! As for the set list of wanted/stolen, yeah kinda like that I suppose. Though I wonder if it's too much upkeep from the dev point of view, though it would certainly make for an engaging playstyle.

LSPDFR 0.5.0
Perhaps the inclusion of an outstanding stolen vehicle list/wanted persons list, perhaps linked to the online account that would be updated and then the person/vehicle struck off the list when recovered. It would be like a challenge/achievement system for players and add into the statistics side of the site and mod. Apart from that, fleshed out investigation work like what was added in the last major update with the wanted person callout, more of those would be amazing. Finally, I think I speak for us all when I ask, any news devs? 🙂

LSPDFR 0.5.0
I'm really glad to learn that an 0.50 is in the works. I returned to the Patreon though I can see there's been no dev updates since 2019. Is it likely that there will be some new posts relative to the forthcoming update? Would make for a good incentive to rekindle the old Patreon and naturally, we're all very invested to see what a new update may look like. Apart from that though, thanks to you all, the dev team for keeping up with the prompt maintenance of LSPDFR!

Rph crashing with error code 0xc0000005
@Rman5 I see you had the ntdll.dll issue, was it as simple as adding the exception to the anti-virus for you?

What sirens do the PSNI Land Rovers use?
It sounds like a Premier Hazard, possibly the 9005.

[WIP] Agency Dispatch Framework
Literally just came back to look at this now, seems you've made AMAZING progress since last I checked! If all works as planned, having just this and the requisite plugins (UB, STP, CLite) will make for a super stable playing experience over the plethora of callout plugins most of us no doubt have currently! Watching with great interest, excellent work @Brexin212

Suggestion
@ThruZZd noted, it's my intention to throw that suggestion into his discord also. Figured that if it had a native framework within LSPDFR, it would be easier to integrate with future plugins.

Suggestion
Hi all, devs if you're looking. I'd like to suggest a resource system for individual departments, not sure how easy or otherwise it would be to implement. Though each department would have a set amount of available units/specialist resources at a given time, so like a roster system in effect. The units available on a dayshift would be more than say a nightshift and this could be modified for each day of the week. In terms of gameplay, it may mean that there is limited/no assistance available and perhaps mutual aid could come into effect. So an LSPD officer is off with vehicle stopped and requests assistance, no LSPD available but RHPD has a car nearby and the mutual aid comes from the next agency. Or a K9 isn't available as they are currently committed with a missing person search etc... I thought of this after using Ambient AI Callouts and think it would integrate amazingly, though would also work well on native LSPDFR. Not sure if this will garner much interest, as it's a move more into the immersion/RP style and may not cater for all tastes. Thanks for the read! J.

Why is non-els trending instead of ELS?
There's also the recently released DLS mod, offering much of the same functionality as ELS, but with less stability issues. ELS was good whilst it lasted, but more is possible on a native/semi native level with RPH now than when V modding was in it's infancy.

GTA crashing when pressing F4
No problem, to remove LML, simply rename or delete the file "version.dll" from your GTA directory. 🙂

GTA crashing when pressing F4
I have the same issue as @TBS Lewis. Tried a clean install of RPH to no avail, I've tried the force windowed/borderless option in RPH also. Everything else is fine, except for the CTD after F4 is pressed to open the RageHook console. The RPH log is otherwise normal too and shows nothing failing at the time of the crash. **EDIT** After playing around, I've found that if I remove LML, I can use the RPH console again. There must be some form of conflict with the two. @LMS tagged for your information.

is there a chance we could live in other houses next lspdfr update?
@LMS firstly, thanks to you and the team for continuing to deliver such a high quality mod. Secondly on the subject of houses, is there any way to have an apartment/house out in the Counties, such as one in Paleto Bay or Sandy Shores? Just for us more rural based virtual cops. 🙂

LSPDFR 0.4.4 - Now available!
@OfficeAliG the ads are there to ensure there's some revenue to cover the costs of running the site, having a website such as this comes with cost. 🙂

RageHook Plugin: No Splash Screen, Not Launching
Yeah, there's been an update. Not a huge one but GTA V now launches via Rockstar games new proprietary launcher which I think RAGEHook struggles to locate as it's looking for a launch via Steam. I think is a short workaround for it meantime.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
No, I'm aware of the differences between the CVPI and the Grand Marquis, all I'm saying is that in order to make the first gen Stainer look closer to the early '90's CVPI the grille could be made smaller and the lights stretched, thus keeping the car lore friendly whilst also making it a little closer to the CVPI. If that makes sense? Side on the Stainer is roughly the same shape and from the rear it's also passable as an early '90's CVPI.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
Bar the grille, the old GTA IV Stainer/Cruiser looks very much like the early '90's CVPI. All it would need is the grille shrunken and shortened and the headlamps extended inwards and it's basically there. Even as it stands with the chunkier grille, it's close enough to fit in better with a retro pack.

Gta5 won't launch at all!
@Thot Patrol I had the same issue as you, in order to play I have to unplug all my controllers, so my G27 and X360 controller. So if you've any plugged in, try removing them then loading through Rage.
-
Rage 0.55 and xbox 360 controller
Yeah, you're probably right. Thanks anyway :)

Rage 0.55 and xbox 360 controller
This is the only iteration of rage that I've had any issues with, though I see others have intermittent issues yet some are totally fine. Pretty weird huh?
-
Rage 0.55 and xbox 360 controller
So, rage 0.55 only loads if I don't have my x360 controller or G27 plugged in. Any known fixes for this? I am unable to register at the Rage website for some reason....

Regular arming of UK police
The real issue with the arming officer's issue is complex and multi-faceted. As I said at the beginning of this thread, officers themselves consistently vote against being armed, why? Because we simply don't feel the need. I was a police constable in Dumfries and Galloway until 2013, never once was I in a position where I felt as though I needed access to a firearm even though, at that time we didn't have a dedicated ARV on duty, they were instead called up on an ad-hoc basis from a pool of around 50 AFO's. During my time serving there, I confronted knives and firearms (anyone who knows the rural UK will know how many guns are around). Criminal use of firearms is so low here that we simply couldn't justify the routine arming of all officers, there have been about 60-65 officers killed by gunfire since 1903 here in the UK. Arming our officers in light of the recent incidents would be a knee jerk reaction and completely disproportionate in line with everyday police work. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on this, though as I say, the standard British officer simply isn't interested, nor do they see the need for carrying a sidearm at this present time.

Regular arming of UK police
It's a tough question that raises it's head over here often. Personally, I'm in two minds and feel that perhaps the Norwegian and NZ model you mention, sidearms secured in the vehicle, is perhaps the closest to armed most beat constables need to be. The issue we have here is that officers themselves have consistently voted against being armed routinely as the feel it's simply not needed, which is true 99% of the time. I feel that investment in greater numbers of specialised armed officers, as opposed to a fully armed service is a far better way to go at present, though the adoption of Taser as an intermediate weapon would be a great addition to the beat officer, to compliment the CS/PAVA and baton already carried.

@Lundy I totally forgot about Rescue 911 - The Shatner again! @JAM I love that you mentioned the PSX game Worlds Wildest Police Chases, I lost many an hour of my life playing that gem! So many cool responses!
