Maybe because Israel government was given a very defined land with very defined borders, but broke the treaty signed in 1947 to expand their country over Palestinian lands for no reason besides "we need space, gtfo"? How one can blame Russia for expanding in Ukraine and not blame Israel expanding in Palestine? How one can blame Russia, China or North Korea for oppressing a whole people when Israel is oppressing innocent palestinian civilians? How one can blame ISIS killing innocent people for their religion when Israel is bombing thousands of innocent people when only tenth of them attacked them? Don't Israel have the money to do surgical strikes and kill only the terrorists instead of thousands innocent palestinians? Don't they have the technology to do so? They do, yet they prefer to oppress, starve and thirsty hundreds of thousand innocent palestinian because they got their balls pinched just by a a few hundred of them. Bah, to me it's pretty similar, whatever was the reasons for the crusades, the result was the same: killing innocent people and using religion as an excuse to do so. Some will say "Crusades happened centuries ago", and so what? The comparison is still decent and correct. We can compare neo-nazis people to nazis, even though the National Socialism is decades old, so why not crusades (godwin point for me). When we look at it, it's pretty much a crusade what ISIS is doing. Killing people and preaching their religion. And it's just as much wrong as the christians crusades were.
