Well Grand Theft Auto IV looked very bad at it's vanilla stage. When it comes to Grand Theft Auto V that just isn't the case. Grand Theft Auto V beats GTA IV with any ENB by a long shot. Sure there may be graphical improvements but I don't think there will be anything as game changing when it comes to graphics mods for V. Just my two cents.

Name your vanilla directory something else and ​rename the modded directory to: Grand Theft Auto V Then launch the game through Steam

​Just replace the cars file with a backup of it. For example say police2 is having issues, you would replace police 2 with a fresh police2.wtd and police.wft from a backup you made (or at least should have). If you need more help let me know.
