Yes I understand thank you, but what i'm saying is that since the patch 1.0.7.0, I have gotten from Rockstar, My game needs xlive.dll to work, so I was wondering if there was something to do to fix this so I am able to play online, Thanks!

Hey guys I recently wasn't able to open my game and finally came up to see that in some cases the game needs xlive.dll to work, how can I fix this? I want to play online, but I read somewhere that xlive.dll is not compatible with online it will just not work, Thank you! -Jason

Hey guys I was playing GTA and logged off, later on I logged on rockstar social club and then when I click play in rockstar social club box and it never wanted to start, what it does is that when I click play rockstar box will close and the game will never appear, I have Games for Windows live and the market place so that is not the problem, please help I do not know what to do, thanks to everyone willing to help out! I have installed the patch on my other computer and still nothing works it wont load my profile can anybody help out with this problem please! And I cannot find my xlive.dll file...

Okay, well first of all, do you have a text document named commandline? If not create one name it commandline and add this in it: -norestriction -nomemrestrict -availablevidmem 10.0 -percentvidmem -noprecache -novsync -novblank -viewdistance 0 -renderquality 0 -detailquality -frameLimit 0 -texturequality 0

Hi, where is the file located is it in the game directory? and what should we do to be able to make the game go on dsound and not xlive? thanks!

Is it just not launching? Because me I was missing my commandline so if you don't have commandline in your GTA IV Directory or your EFLC Directory that might be the problem. If not I do not know what else it could be sorry!

For me the trainer was not working with my ELS it was like if they were fighting together, so Ii just desinstalled Trainer and worked out that my ELS was working fine so, try that. And give me some news!

Do you know how to create a shortcut? Via steam?

Hey guys, quick question, where do you find saved videos from gta iv, since I cannot play on steam I use the video editor on gta iv, but the videos got to be saved somewhere? for example: with the gta iv discs when you save video they are found in My Documents>Rockstar Games>Gta IV>Videos. Like this but for steam version does this exist? Thanks to all of yous' who can answer this!

That's weird, Me I was missing my commandline and when I put it in my folder, it worked fine!

Nope it still will not launch I press P, Alt+P and Ctrl+P and it does nothing at all!

Hey guys I got a problem, when uploading LCPDFR installer this opens and I cannot start lcpdfr when pressing P. please help, Also, I have already installed LCPDFR 0.95 and had no problem with. 1.0 seems to be B.S. for a lot of people, anyways, I would love to get help. thank you!

Hey guys my GTA IV wont launch with steam. But it will launch if I go to the GTAIV.exe and I launch it as administrator, It will work, what happens when Ii launch it with steam? It will infinately load during the loading screen. I have tried all possible methods and is still not working. Thanks to all who will help me out!

Hey guys I need help, I got this error when trying to connect to Games for Windows live in-game connection and a window pops up on the first picture then when I click on my profile this shows up please and thank you to all those who are willing to help!

Can you explain to me what it does?

Open a new text document, name it commandline, and then, You type this: -norestriction -nomemrestrict -availablevidmem 10.0 -percentvidmem -noprecache -novsync -novblank -viewdistance 0 -renderquality 0 -detailquality -frameLimit 0 -texturequality 0 for availablevidmem, start by the lowest quality meaning start by 1.0 and if your missing building textures, go up to 2.0 and etc... until you have the proper vidmem use! Hope this answered your question!
