Do you have a commandline? I was missing mine in GTA IV directory, I also bought it on steam and I was missing my commandline.

Did you try installing another type of car? It could be the file that is corrupt. Try downloading and installing a new car(not the same car different car) and tell me in the private messages if it worked if not ill do some research for you bud!

I did and nothing worked, for now I downloaded the patch 1.0.7.0 like it was told in several forums, And see if it is the problem.

Try using SparkIV instead maybe OpenIV is corrupt...

Hey guys my gta wont stop crashing, i desinstalled all the game and still crashes and sometimes freezes after 20-30 minutes of playing Help please guys its really annoying, I use steam, but one question, do I need to download the GTA IV update the 1.0.7.0 update? Thanks alot you guys!!

Hey guys my GTA IV shuts' down on it's own for no reason after maybe 15-20-30 minutes of playing it, I'm still upgrading my graphics card because it is still unstable, but I don't know if it's what's causing the problem but any ways, very irratating please help thanks in advance!

Your missing commandline.txt make a new text document and name it commandline and put this in your text document: -norestriction -nomemrestrict -availablevidmem 6.0 -percentvidmem -noprecache -novsync -novblank -viewdistance 0 -renderquality 0 -detailquality -frameLimit 0 -texturequality 0 And for the availablevidmeme 6.0 start by 2.0 and then go up if graphics are not good. Reply if it does not work and I will help you find a solution. Jason

Hey guys when you get into the gae it asks you to log into games for Windows live is not logging it I put my account and everything and then when I click on the loading account it says that my account has'nt load completely and I cant log in Please help! Thanks.

Hey guys I figured out what was wrong, my commandline.txt was missing, But now the game shuts down on its own and sometimes makes my computer shut down, Why does it do that? Also when I play the game it does not lag at all everything works fine.

Oh well when I come to install gfwl it does not work...

I would of showed you a video of how to install it but GFWL does not exist anymore

do you mean this pop up? Cause if it is this I only have the looping problem to deal with. But for the steam version do we need the new 1.0.7.0 patch as well?
