CryptEclipse got a reaction from Spanglishking in LSPDFR 0.4.4 Stuck on Loading Story with RageHook PluginI've downloaded LSPDFR 0.4.4 in my game with the new launcher and scripthookv. For some odd reason when my game starts up, it gets stuck on the story mode and loaded plugins. Not sure what the problem is because I have everything up to date.

CryptEclipse reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4.4 - Now available! We have released a minor update for LSPDFR which primarily adds support for the newest version of Grand Theft Auto V, but also introduces a couple of new features and changes that we had originally scheduled for a future update but decided to release with this version:
0605 Spanish Ave - a new, fully functional, 'mid-range' apartment in West Vinewood. New settings within the Interaction Menu to change each character's residence. Added compatibility with the latest GTA V update including with the new Rockstar Games Launcher. Some fixes including a potential crash in the reckless driver world event. A minor game-world fix that caused some objects near the Diamond Casino building not to load.
Please note that LSPDFR 0.4.4 also includes the latest version of the RAGE Plugin Hook.
LSPDFR 0.4.4, along with full release notes, can be found here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7792-lspd-first-response
Stay tuned for more LSPDFR news coming soon.
If you are having problems with LSPDFR 0.4.4, please do not post about them in this topic, but use the support forums instead.
Before you do, though, read through this topic: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/89691-read-will-save-your-time-common-issues-fixes-and-bugs/
There are a lot of fixes for common problems in there.

CryptEclipse got a reaction from CrAzYHotdog in GTA4 - LCPDFR 1.0 keys? When you first install LCPDFR, the keys should already be in a PDF file in the main directory or folder depending of how you install the modification (Automatically or Manual).
A weapon light isn't apart of the modification and is a separate script with the game itself unless you download a gun that has a working flashlight built into it.
I hope this helps you to find what you need!

CryptEclipse reacted to propel in Zmodeler: User-Defined Option HelpI said 2.5 randomly because theoretically you can have a value from 0 < x < 10, you probably need to test in game in order to find the appropriate value for what your doing. From what the list says I would put MODE 13 or 11/12 to create a slowly illuminating light. Just experiment with it and you'll learn what you need
-
CryptEclipse reacted to propel in Zmodeler: User-Defined Option HelpI think what happens here is that you go into the properties of the object, check the user defined box, then there's a text field where you can type in a preset like if you want daytime running lights I would type:
DAYLIT
CORONA 2.5

CryptEclipse reacted to Sgt.Kanyo in ZModeler: lightsemmisive problemYou have to change the specular's power by modifying the GTA Specular texture. In this case, you could add a grey texture instead of vehicle_generic_smallspecmap (which is fully white). Black = no specular power, white = full specular power.

CryptEclipse got a reaction from BlueSteelShield in URGENT HELP NEEDEDEveryone is so confusing. Here's why you do. Also make sure you create a different folder with just your original files from GTA IV so you can make multiple directories. (Zip it)
• Install the Automatic installer
• Select the folder with your GTA IV in it
• While you're in the installer, make sure you have Dsound.dll checked and not Xliveless
• Also there will be a ad download that'll pop up because they want you to download something. Don't have it checked
• When you're done downloading, go to your GTA IV directory you installed it in and you'll see a folder called LCPD First Response
• Open the folder up and extract everything from that folder to the directory
Everything I just said should help you and it's not complicated to follow if you know the basics of a computer and installing stuff
Also, never use Xliveless because it's unstable and Dsound isn't. And to start the mod up you press Control+P

CryptEclipse reacted to Pavelow in What car should I get?By a bike.. Just do it. You'll never regret it. It's a chick magnet, and the feeling that you get when you know you can outrun that pimple faced prick in his burnt out ricer, that he put student loans into, is just amazing.
Mmmmmm.. What a sexy little bitch.... I bought a used ninja 650 for around $2500 3 years ago, and never regretted it.

CryptEclipse got a reaction from Officer Chevytrucks in When installing carsObviously you put the car into your vehicles.img file and you're done with the first step. Second, the handling goes in the common/data path. Unless you have different handling for certain vehicles, you need to find where you line is in the txt, copy and paste it in the txt with all of the other lines. Thirdly(not sure if that's a word), as for the ELS, you import your config into te ELS file and then you go to slot control in which you want to find what spot your vehicle is in, make sure it's on and on the bottom you put the name of the config of the vehicle

CryptEclipse reacted to Will in AFTER LOAD SCREE CRASHThere's no need for that attitude or the caps lock. No one is entitled to support, and anyone that helps you is doing so out of the kindness of their heart. If you want to get the best help, you need to read ineseri's post and do everything it says.

CryptEclipse got a reaction from Cyan in Could not load file or assembly 'AdvancedHook.dllIf this is YOUR mod you're talking about, I don't think anyone can help you if no one knows how your mid works or have ever tested anything with it other than you

CryptEclipse got a reaction from OfficerFive0 in Taser Wont Work LCPDFR 1.1Above is completely wrong. You need to install the taser manually to get it to work. Here's a link to the topic

CryptEclipse got a reaction from DeputyJake in LCPDFR is CrashingThe system dependencies doesn't matter since you deleted the 2 files. It also said in the log the AdvancedHook found a crash but wasn't LCPDFR related. Was the Tahoe the car that didn't work last time(the 2nd car you imported)? If it is then that's the problem. Also the Log check sounds a like a little problem. Did you test out your game? If you didn't, make sure you do and then run the LCPDFR scan again
-
CryptEclipse got a reaction from DeputyJake in LCPDFR is CrashingNo don't delete those 2 files and it's not because we deleted the others. You most definitely need those for mods. But, did you check to see if that car was stable at all. Your game should run smoothly without have to not load anymore. So what I want you to do is to uninstall LCPDFR and re-install it (make sure you don't have those 2 files in like I told you and turn off the saving in the config), and put the vehicles back in. Or at least which ones you know is stable. The ELS is flashing really fast because if you go into the ELS configuration setting in your directory, you should be able to fix that problem. But after you re-install LCPDFR, run the diagnostics tool, then show me a picture of what it says if there's an error
