I agree cones would definitely be useful. though the ai doesn't seem to care about them some of the time. They tend to drive right over them after 15 seconds with the other policemod.

Excellent, was hoping those were coming. I like your radar mod, I need to look at the config file again ;) So far in about 1 hour of speed traps I have only had the uninsured flag once. Very well done though. Thanks for that.

Some kind of license plate reader would be awesome. Mark a vehicle wanted. Tow truck mod would be very nice. Coroner is also needed. Vehicle accidents would be nice callouts to respond to.

I have seen the work around for your problem somewhere but cant find it right now. Look at some of the other mods instructions there is a way to install them into the updates folder so it doesn't try to repair your files every time you start.

Close the door, get headphones and tell people you are teaching yourself computer coding and reading. Shuts em up :) Gaming is just another hobby. No different then any other thing people do because they enjoy it. Non gamers just don't get it and never will. They complain because it isn't fun for someone watching you play on the computer all the time. It isn't social enough for others. For us anti-socials it is a perfect way to pass time.

​top left on steam there is an option to go offline. I just tried to play the game. rockstar servers are down for me. I get the socialclub can't connect to rockstar message though. you don't get the social club popup or anything? I would try to verify the game cache. rightclick the game title and choose properties then local files tab.

It takes about 15 seconds on my computer to startup. Anything gta running in your task manager list? Could try to offline steam and run the game again.

​yeah I think they changed it, game wont launch for me either now unless I am on the internet. At least I haven't been banned for using single player mods.

​That's what I have been doing, keeping steam in offline mode. Trying to stay a patch behind so the scripthook has time to update for any new surprise patches.

I would recommend you just start with adding lcpdfr and check and see how it runs on your system. Then you can try adding new car mods, ELS and enb's to make it look a bit better once you get an idea at how stable lcpdfr runs. The more things you add the better computer you will need to avoid crashing every ten minutes. There are some fun mods to add ie. spotlight, callouts and policehelper. Tips: Backup your gta4 folder (copy the whole folder to your desktop or a different directory so you have the original files saved) Only add mods one at a time and test to see if your game stays stable. To change the cars you will need OpenIV software- find it on google and there are youtube videos to show how to use it. The game seems more stable if you keep the stock vehicle models in police and police2 spots. Add your els models into other spots like noose or fib.

1.09 is working well on my computer. Excellent Mod! Love it.

I have to say it isn't too bad after you play for a bit and start earning $1200 per shift. Once you get used to it and it's many "quirks" , it mostly does what you want it to do. A little lonely as the only cop. For a 4 person development game, it is worth $15. Just have to remember this is a low low budget game. They have a limit to how much they can add. There are plenty of things that would be nice but the basic premise is good. Play it for a few hours and I bet it grows on you. Haven't had one crash in 7 hours of playing which is very nice. You wouldn't want to play it all the time but it is a change of pace. I play it like I play lcpdfr, I do what i want and just ignore a lot of the little problems in the game and have a little fun.

Nice vids. You aren't getting callouts because you aren't clearing your last call with Alt-E bro. ;) The little phone/x in the bottom left corner was on. Enjoyed the commentary about gta5, why they couldn't put in a little be a cop action in that game blows my mind. Just simple catch the crook, arrests, shootouts and traffic stops would have been great.

The neatest thing I have learned recently is the console heal command to fix your car instantly. Works great. And avoids any trainer or policehelper crashes for me. ~ then type heal

The VDH mods were built for the old version of lcpdfr. You will probably get lots of crashes at least I do. Disable world events seems to reduce the crashes somewhat. But I still get random tow ticker crashes and the coroner usually only works a couple times before it breaks. And the people falling from the sky is quite common.
