2010 Chicago Police (CPD) Tahoe
Since you asked, a 100% :P. Already have a unmarked FPIU floating around my hard drive, Tahoe would be easy because they use the same lighting. Put them in 1 pack together like my ford pi pack, a nice project for me for the weekend

problem with outer edge
Can't really help you without pics, but I can tell you the proper way to mirror something is to mirror, flip once (press F once), then go to normal -> calculate.

PC Support # vs #
i5 - 4460 is better in performance. Maybe a i5-4440 or i3 to save $$$? However, the Fx 6300 is a good bargain. Pretty much you get what you pay for. Word of warning, don't get sucked into the 6 cores = better thing, the performance actually equals about 3 cores. Motherboard: maybe not asus? okay boards, but if something goes wrong, their customer service is horrible. Graphics: 750ti, perhaps look at the r7 265 if you can reach Power: aerocool isn't a reputable brand, like james said look for a different brand, at least with a 80+ bronze certification Case? Research research research, Google is your friend Good sites for help https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc http://www.tomshardware.com/ https://pcpartpicker.com/

Updating My System - GPU Specific
Phantom? you mean phenom lol? Are you sure your power supply is up to scratch? Is the brand reputable? the 3870 uses 106 W while a r9 280 uses 250W. If its a prebuilt Hp or dell power supply, I would upgrade. Do you have a small case? my r9 280 is huge, (275 mm) and I had to get creative with the wires. If wattage is a issue, look at the nvidia gtx 960 (lower wattage, lower performance)

Car has no wheels and has graphical glitches sprawling out from the car itself
It's a weird thing that happens that seems to be caused by a part that has a problem, sometimes the game loads the car fine, sometimes not at a 25/75 ratio. try: 1. attach anything on the exterior to the car 2. if you have any parts that don't use dummies, make dummies for them. 3. redo the car, as in from scratch, not the 'take the parts off and reimport'

Adding front and back license plates
What error? To clarify your not making a new material your using the existing one
-
Adding front and back license plates
The outline for doing this: 1. import 2.right cick it in the heiarchy -> preferences -> polygons -> materials. Set this to the the material that the body is using (usually a paint3), if you are really not sure go into the material editor and unclick click the materials, look at your 3D view and you'll see some parts become invisible so you can figure out which material you want. (dont forget to hit apply!) 3. Map it (in a paint3 material you have to set the UV channel (one on top) to UV 2. then you should see in the mapping view the texture/template. Also in the mapping box force material to the one you found earlier. 4. Of course position and attach as necessary also when you do the other plate, you'll have to remap it as well because when you copy it also copys the mapping. The neat clever way is when your in the mapping dialog, select keep old mapping and check 'select old mapping' (UV#2 and force material too)

Adding front and back license plates
Are you talking about making a seperate texture for the license plate, or are you going to put it onto a template like pretty much every police purpose model on here?

tips for rc20 error
1. Duplicate materials, although in personal experience its never this 2. If it still crashes, I troubleshoot the problem by removing parts individually and testing in game. From my experience an RC20 can happen because a part is clipping through the model (like roof mounted ALPR's). Once I moved the part so it doesn't clip through, no more crashing. (Note: I don't attach my parts to the bodyshell, nothing wrong with doing it though, to each their own) Other times I find the problem part, but I can't find anything wrong with it... 3. Redo the car/problem part... 4. to demoralized too continue...

** 2010 Chicago Police Chevy Tahoe w/ FS Legend ** NOTES: Most of the windows do not break for some reason Randomly spawnable beat tag (see visual aid for more info) Contains 4 unique skins with accurate numbering/details ELS 8.5 required (colored coronas) I have included a version that does not carry the beat tag so you can use it for your own projects. Highly recommended that you use the accompanied ELS file as the lighting is setup specifically to use it. A new handling line from here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/4338-sgtkanyos-handling-mods/ is recommended. This archive contains: police2.wft police2.wtd Screenshots ELS vCF file (legendtahoe) No beat tag version Read me Do not rerelease or claim as your own! Editing of the model is not allowed, feel free to edit the skins however. Any issues? Please report in the review section. Sharing's caring!- 6 comments

Need help with Hierarchy in zmod // Invalid resource crash
Probably because of those alpr's on your hood. Make sure that: 1. They don't actually go through the hood, their position should be very close but not clipping through 2. Attach them to the hood

"A few bad apples"
Its called rationalization, noone likes to have what they like or believe in proved wrong, so they try to defend to their views to protect their ideals. Like they say, "Opinions are like assholes. Everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks." The difference is that some feel that arguing over it on some place like /r/news is a good idea, others prefer to keep their mouth shut and not get into a useless debate on the internet.

Too many emergency LEDs on 1 vehicle?
You can have all the lights, horns, and sirens you want, but there still will be people who aren't gonna yield.

How to flip in zmodeler
Door dummies look like a green sphere (turns blue when selected). What I would do is look at the passenger side dummy and try to repostion the problem dummy so that it pretty much mirrors the passenger side. Also whats going with the spotlight?
-
How to flip in zmodeler
Uhh.. rotate? Just be careful about the axes that you have on because the rotate uses those to rotate the object w.r.t which ones on i.e (if you have the x axis on it rotates about the x axis)
-
How to flip in zmodeler
Mirror (be careful which axis you are doing it to), then you ought to see the object flipped but in black. Now do flip, then normal -> calculate, now you should see the object in its original texture mirrored.
