The thread is from July and he also released an update. I want to use DoubleDopplers siren, but both are too quiet for me. Even the engine sounds are louder than the sirens of them. Also, the airhorn from DD's siren doesn't work for me. His one is the long tone (I don't know how to describe it) and if I hold G (or Y with ELS), the game begins playing it and switches to the punch sound for some reason. The original siren tone is being played for about a second and after that the 2 or 3 punch sounds are played, and then it goes on with the siren etc.

Neither works with ELS for me. Like I said, every tone is with rumbler, except the "main" tone.

Doesn't sound like in the video demonstration for me. 1. It's more quiet, even the engine of my car is louder. 2. The wail (is it called like this? idk) is without the rumbler (audio I recorded:) http://youtu.be/Us1vBHVrOSQ Or do I need ELS for it to work better?

Hello. I like having one folder with non-ELS cars, and one with ELS vehicles (I only use ELS8 because of the godmode thingy from the older versions). So I began to like NYPD's rumbler siren and it only fits to the NYPD vehicles in my opinion. My problem is that I can't find any NYPD vehicles or even packs for ELS8. Does anyone know an NYPD pack for ELS8? Thanks. ^.^

Das passiert. Du musst einfach etwas mit deinen Mods und dem Spiel rumprobieren, irgendwann klappts. GTA4 ist unberechenbar. Selbst wenn du 64 GB RAM hättest, würd es nicht gehen. Bei mir geht's mit einigen Fahrzeugmods, LCPDFR und Traffic Load 30 Minuten bis zu 2 Stunden. Mit Grafikmod.. 5 Minuten. ^^

Fehlalarm. Einfach auf die Whitelist setzen, sodass die Datei nicht entfernt wird. Die Community ist soo riesig groß, du brauchst dir keine Sorgen machen.

Yes, but as I said, with SNT you can't order the AI driver to follow/chase/pursue a suspect vehicle.

I know that haha. To the trainer: Yes you can make AI peds drive to a waypoint or drive around randomly etc, but you can't let them chase a suspect vehicle, so.. To the shitty AI: That's basically what one of my thoughts behind that idea was. I'd like to watch the AI do the chase more or less alone (haha, poor retards doing the work for me :D) without having to use a helicopter or SNT's airbreak.

Hello. I just got the idea that it would be awesome if your partner could actually drive a car and you sit nexto him as the passenger. For example, he drives to the crime scene and both (you and your partner) get out. Or you are the passenger while your partner is pursuing the suspect vehicle so you can shoot the tires or something.

I put my 2 secondary partners into a second car and told them to follow me, my primary partner got into my car. So we were driving down the highway and the second cop car with my partners was tailgating me like crazy. When I turned right a little bit, the second car passed me, braked a bit, turned left into the oncoming traffic where an SUV was speeding... My partners crashed right into him, flew out of their windscreens and got run over by the next cars. One of them even got hit in mid air :'D

I wasn't sure if I should post it into discussion or support, so ... Hello. If I call NOOSE/SWAT support during a pursuit, the whole team but the driver gets out of the car about 5 blocks away. So there are 3 SWAT guys in the middle of nowhere while the driver of the car is pursuing a van full of heavily armed suspects. Mostly this happens in a vehicle pursuit, but sometimes also in a foot pursuit or shootout. Since 1.0D Hotfix1 (I think) the 2 people in the back of the SWAT truck or van shoot if lethal force is authorized. Well.. it's useless if 3 out of 4 people are missing. ;p Does this happen in all pursuit tactics (Lethal, non lethal, aggressive, passive) or can I somehow avoid that? It's pretty annoying. :/

Yep, it does. I just had to add -windowed. Never have to restart the game again after Alt+Tabbing.

I think that's what causes this. I don't have the "-windowed" command, I'll add it now. I play GTA IV btw.

You can't see window borders on GTA4. The only way to see if it's windowed or not is using ShadowPlay. As I mentioned, the square in the top left corner disappears if I'm in that windowed mode. Yes, it works without issues, the only thing is that I don't see the borders. ^^ Edit: Do I need to add "-windowed" to my commandline.txt so that I can switch properly? I think I've read something like that in the blog.

Hello. In the Devblog, LMS (or Sam? I'm not sure atm) said that the next release of LCPDFR will include an option to switch between full screen and windowed mode while in-game. The post is a few weeks old so I thought that it might work with 1.0D (which came out a few days ago). I had ShadowPlay (screen recorder by Nvidia, if anyone doesn't know) running in shadow mode to record the previous minute in case something funny happens. So, in the top left corner is a little square with a circle or something. ShadowPlay usually doesn't record the desktop, that's why there is no square if I'm on the desktop or any window. So when I hit Alt+Enter as mentioned in the blog, the screen becomes black for about a half second and then I can play on. It wasn't really a window, it still looked like full screen. But ShadowPlay's square was gone and I couldn't record (which let me think that it has to be a window now). When I hit Alt+Enter again, the square is back and I can record. Do you think that this is what was mentioned in the devblog? Or @ the devs: Is it? :p

I haven't tried if the guns from the huey I use work. But there are tons of hueys on gtainside, gtaplanet, gta4-mods etc. and atleast some of them should work. ^^

I try to take screenshots all the time if I don't forget to open Bandicam. ^^ And if they look nice, I can't quit staring at it. :'D

I didn't take many screenshots or record videos, I didn't expect anything. :D -Cops sandwiching me... Always when I try to arrest someone, during a pursuit/shootout or at a traffic stop. -Partner jumping down bridges. -Cops flipping themselves or each other, I don't even know how they managed to do that. :D -People/suspects fleeing from a traffic stop, abandoning their car 5 meters away and getting ran over. -This. (Hint: Look at the helicopters. :p) Wow.
