Looking for full LVMPD Pack w/ Uniforms
There is not one. Someone made some uniforms here on the site, and there are realistic car models scattered around. I believe cj24 made a marked, unmarked, and a marked slicktop cvpi. Don't remember the links though

Obama restricts military-type gear police can have
The Sheriff of Wicomico County said it himself on the radio. I personally believe it and am not surprised if it's true.

Baltimore cops were much more responsible and more sensitive than the St. Louis county cops and you know what happened at the end of that. Over 100 cops hospitalized and cops were forced to watch the city go to shit because of orders from city officials(allegedly). So being more "sensitive and responsible" isn't really the best plan of action imo How dafuq is that possible:0

It's very fair. It's logical for a person not to run from a cop during a traffic stop. Just because your'e angry and don't want to deal with the process, it's ok for you to take off from the stop?

Wouldn't it be common sense to disregard the police gear and continue protesting the thing your'e devoted to protesting?

To be fair, putting a memorial in the road where he was killed is not the brightest idea. It's a road. On a serious note, all the timelines I've looked show the armored cars and cops coming in after the riots and the looting. This is appropriate, because people aren't gonna pull that type of shit with cops in riot gear and armored cars all over the place. With whatever response the cops have people are not gonna be happy. They show up in the full force on the first day to prevent anything riots from breaking out, and people aren't gonna be happy. They give protesters some space, and then someone sparks riots and looting which makes people unhappy. Nothing will make people happy.

Exactly, maybe a better protest would be NY. They know how to properly protest in the city lol

Well things are already in place to decrease violent acts by cops(though it's been decreasing, even way before this police brutality "trend"). I don't think there's anything you can do to proactively decrease violence among citizens. People will be people, and I honestly believe that America will never be as peaceful as it should be. Like your country for example

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what happened in Baltimore pretty much? I don't remember the police using any tear gas or batons until those teenagers started the riot after Gray's funeral. The protests and police response were very peaceful imo, up to that point. Again, I could be wrong

Lol that Sheriff is a known nutjob, and he had to give back all the stuff he got, including the tanks. I don't think the US is heavily militarized imo. From what I've seen from departments around me, they chose training and investigations over SWAT equipment. And I've talked with my town's CIRT(SWAT) leader, and he told me they wanted and got the Bearcat last from federal grants. They chose a training simulator and a tactical robot first. Policing priorities are different everywhere though

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2015/05/18/obama-to-visit-camden-n-j-to-tout-community-policing-reforms/ http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/19/us/politics/obama-to-limit-military-style-equipment-for-police-forces.html So the Obama administration has banned local police from getting certain equipment from the military that used to be available in the 1033 program. Would like to here some of your thoughts. Here's my opinion(that many especially non Americans will disagree with lol) I personally think it's stupid, like really f***ing stupid. After reading many comments and other people's thoughts on some articles, it seems like only the people who agree with the decision are uninformed in what the tools do, or have a negative perception of the police and their equipment because of the media. Cops are not buying tanks! They are buying and using armored(not armed) vehicles that are simply used as a defensive tool. A think 3-4 months ago, my town's CIRT team(SWAT) was taking shots responding to a barricaded EDP with a rifle. They took some shots from the guy and many of them hit the Bearcat. Had that been an unarmored van, the bullets probably would've sliced through and hit an officer. Tanks are equipped with cannons and automatic turret guns that can take down a buildings, completely opposite to armored vehicles People think cops are patrolling with M4s, they are not. They are sometimes using a semi-automatic ar15 rifle, that is simply based off the m4 platform. Those guns are easily available to the public(that are allowed), and many do own it. I believe they've also banned grenade launchers. None of the grenades swat use are lethal. It's all less lethal, like smoke and tear gas, and etc. And people get upset and wonder why some sway have military syle uniforms, so what. As long as the patrol officers are not working in camo unis I don't see a problem. I feel like the media and recent riots have made people think the police are just soldiers, when in reality the equipment rarely gets used, and is never used on patrol/everyday policing. Until I'm seeing cops everywhere patrolling in armed or armored vehicles and having vehicle checkpoints every 10 miles and other shit like that, I'm not believing in this militarization of the police and the police state bs. This decision seemed to made only to appease people. Got that off my chest lol
