Can The Devs behind the Site Please at least start considering a FiveM Specfic Plugin section.   The scripts section is starting to get to be a little much when half the first page is fivem only stuff.  Most of us are here for LSPDFR I really don't want to have to sift thru incompatible files to find needed updates for my LSPDFR.  Even if its not completely out of control right now, it will only get worse in time.   By my count there are currently 42 Fivem specific plugins across the first 10 pages of the lspdfr plugins section, would make it easier for everyone to find things they are looking for.

completely  understood, but I will say this. You have my complete support in that. I'd prolly wait for after the GTA update though. I think thats the 10th

I was notified today (thanks @unitedOrange66) about PHEREM SICARIO on Patreon selling at least one of my plugins (Rich's Police Enhancements) under the name Officer Tactics.  This stolen plugin is showcased in this YouTube video by BlueLine Vibes.

 

While I no longer maintain my plugins, they are still available for free here on LSPDFR, and the source code is available on Github.  People have DM'd me to ask permission to work off of my code in order to update the plugin for themselves, which I have no problem with.  My projects are protected under the GPL3 license and reselling them is not okay.

 

I've submitted a DMCA claim to Patreon and left a comment on BLV's video.  Just wanted to warn the community here as well to help mitigate the risk of unsuspecting people getting scammed.

 

Additional proof that these files are directly stolen from me can be found by decompiling his files and finding my name in some of the file paths (along with my code/class names that haven't been changed).

Yeah Thanks,  although the bolded out part was HIGHLY unnecessary... That would be the ENTIRE reason this thread exists because I didn’t want to randomly DM the wrong staff member. I also had already checked there and none of the reasons in the drop down match what i want to give them details about.

Hi, 

So I took advantage of the downtime of the GTA update and am performing a  full clean reinstall of GTA, LSPDFR, all plugins etc.  I would like to start out 100% fresh with this update.  I am looking to see how I can delete all my existing LSPDFR characters before I resync the freshly installed game. I am sure I am probably missing the option someplace but have tried digging around various sections of the site but just not seeing what I want. Any help is appreciated.

Pretty foul stance impo to take since you obviously don’t get it.  If I choose to get into modelling but don’t want to give this community another 2014 charger or crown vic based off the same old dev model as 10 other files out there, that means I have to buy a 3d model which can cost hundreds, pay to have it converted, templated, etc etc.  Then I upload it on here for everyone to download for free and a group of kids decide that everything i had to pay big bucks should be free for them to chop up any way they so choose. NO!  Additionally you missed the first two threads that brought us to this point that a Staff member here chose to insult the entire community and then delete the threads when it blew up in his face.  Pretty much all anyone ever wanted was the Staff of LCPDFR to at least act like they care about the devs and maybe ban the known worst offenders who do this. It may not stop it completely and there may not be a way to stop it completely but show the members who spend hundreds of dollars to make LSPDFR better that the staff appreciates their contributions

The only site I can think of that does punish users for actions that they perform outside of the website is Twitter, which gets constant issues with people claiming overzealous moderation.

Like I said in the thread Ezra deleted. How can you so boldly claim that none of the model thefts are occurring here. When I can log out of lcpdfr.com right now and download every mod on it without ever registering.  How dumb do you think these guys are that are doing this?  Does the staff here truly believe that they aren’t just one of the im sure Hundreds of guest accounts a day, week, or month that just download files. And i know its doable because I’ve done it thinking I was logged in but really wasn’t

I would say that is a really good reason for pausing.  Also remember if you zoom in the page. The captchas do enlarge, and it can make them much easier sometimes.  Works on mobile too, at least on my iphone

Your issue is most likely patrol toolkit, honestly. I believe it is outdated and may have some compatibility issues with the newer versions of the game. Better EMS as far (as i remember at least) doesn’t have a coroner option.  I personally would suggest either albos mods that offer a coroner option or stop the ped that now has coroner options in it.

Sad to see you go, but I totally get it and agree. And I hope some things are done by the higher ups here to fix some of the issues mentioned here. This is a HUGE loss to this website.

Sounds like you may not have programmed the buttons right on police radio or something. Hard to tell which plugin is causing the issue here. Might want to try and refresh the buttons on police radio to be sure everything works

Vice City is being remastered?? Any links on that? First I’ve heard of it and will definitely own it. Especially if any new things are added. 

I doubt any of this is true, but I would LOVE another 80's based Vice City with today's upgraded graphics and map sizes.   But then again If it really comes out in 2022-2023 ill be 43-44 years old so i guess it all brings me back to when I was growing up.

I'm not sure if this would be beneficial to you or not, but if you hold CTRL and move your mouse wheel up, you can enlarge the page and the captcha, making it bigger and a bit easier to read.  You can then do the same thing, just move the mouse wheel down to get the page back to normal size.

Thanks, I kinda figured it was not changeable but thought it was worth a shot at least.  I will give the zoom function a shot. I hadn't thought of that.
