  1. if you've signed in, then you're done. It means you have installed it and it works. You ARE signed into windows LIVE right? not anything else? If so, then you have successfully installed it. What do you mean by fixing the update thingy? You'll need to be more specific. If you're talking about the setup, there is no need for fixing. The setup.exe is completely fine,
  2. Yes, 1.0b does not come with it. That's why you must add it in yourself.
  3. I don't even know half of LCPDFR controls lol. Thanks.
  4. To let a k-9 use a gun, this mod's "bug" somewhat allows it. http://www.gta4-mods.com/player/dog-mod-v10-f13762 Spawn it with simple native trainer and it holds an mp5 lol.
  5. Lol, deciding between a k-9 or a cop partner is difficult now.
  6. My favorite part about LCPDFR is the pursuits. When I began my first pursuit, it felt awesome to have that search area. The down part is that when I encountered the cop cars chasing the suspect. They were like drunkards themselves. They crash into peds, fire hydrants, street lights, you name it. I had to go through the ini and lower the max number of cop cars to 3 cause I couldn't stand their drunk driving. I think the next version should have "decent" drivers. Sometimes when I call in the ambulance to rescue one person, they run over and kill 5 on the way. I find it funny and disturbing at the same time. I'm not sure if there is a fix for the AI yet, but I hope the next version is better!
  7. Either you don't know how to use multiplayer or you are overreacting. Check this link out for a few multiplayer stability tips: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Trainer server means people in that server use simple native trainer. You can get the mod yourself here: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-trainer-version-65-f2115
  8. Okay, do you know how to run the update? Lol, i'll call the paramedics just in case you overdo it
  9. Give it 5 minutes. Be patient it can be closed after it is done loading objects.
  10. Turn off vdh police helper world events. See if that works.
  11. The link has been posted twice. Yes, these are the links for games for windows live setup.
  12. The tool has not successfully given me a log file ever since I updated to 1.0b. Here are some procedures I followed and I'm not sure why there is an error. 1)GTA IV Directory>LCPDFR Folder>Run tool>Check for Installation>Critical Error: 0x1 2) GTA IV Directory>LCPDFR Folder>Run tool as ADMIN (right clicked then ran)>Check for Installation>Critical Error: 0x1 3) GTA IV Directory>LCPDFR Folder>Run tool as ADMIN (right clicked then ran)>Tick advanced mode>Check for Installation>Browse game folder>Searched and clicked gtaiv.exe>Check successful and I click open log file>tool stops working 4) GTA IV Directory>LCPDFR Folder>Run tool>Tick advanced mode>Check for Installation>Browse game folder>Searched and clicked gtaiv.exe>Check successful and I click open log file Is there something I am doing wrong? Yes, I have lcpdfr installed correctly and the game works fine. Yes, I have Microsoft.WindowsAPICodePack.dll along with the tool in my LCPDFR folder
  13. I think it's supposed to be like that. Try the manual installation again. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  14. Real idea: Get a new pc with good specs
  15. If the problem still persists you may need to install the taser manually. Here is the link: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  16. Yes, so use the line on the lcpdfr.ini
  17. Disable vdh police helper world events because it does not run well with lcpdfr.
  18. Can you list some mods you have installed? Do you have the latest patch?
  19. What do you mean different folder? How do I find the windows error dialog? If I put it in a different folder it doesn't even launch at all.
  20. If you need anymore support you should look at this link '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  21. Yes. Both of you should have the same mods. It's more stable that way.
  22. Okay, then my next guess is probably some of the mods are not compatible with each other.
  23. 1. Yes, it is in my LCPDFR folder 2. Yes, I am running it as admin 3. Yes, Microsoft.WindowsAPICodePack.dll is in the same folder as tool (LCPDFR) Somehow when I check the installation it works, but when I attempt to view the logs, it crashes the tool. Any fixes? Thanks.
