The least they could do is document their formats for the community. Then we wouldn't have to wait years for people like the OpenIV team to decode them, or be reliant on money grabbers like the ZMod developer.

Many of the updates feel exactly like Bethesda's updates. More content without a need for a binary change that breaks hooks. Sure, some updates add actual features and need a binary change, but many don't and are entirely capable of being rpf only. Maybe it's their extremely feeble attempt to stop hackers for a few weeks. With modders being collateral damage. And I bet everyone at Rockstar and TakeTwo mourn that loss. Also, you forget how much Rockstar does care about us modders. Remember when they put TakeTwo in their place after they attacked modders? It only took them a little over a week and was nothing to do the PR nightmare that it created.
