  1. Not a mod, but I'm 90% sure that this is illegal and falls under piracy. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
  2. Pay what money? By pre-ordering? If the delay bothers you that much, then cancel the pre-order...that is a non issue. Your card probably wasn't even charged yet since most retailers don't charge until the game has shipped. I would be more pissed off if I actually paid $60 after the release for the PC version, only to find that it is a buggy mess. But I'll humor you. Lets say you were actually charged $60 and you could not cancel it before the game ships. Well, guess what? That's the risk you take by paying for a product based solely on marketing hype alone and not knowing anything about the final result.
  3. I agree, I would prefer game developers to not have release dates as well, but then you will have people begging for a release date. It's very much a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation.
  4. And you've got proof of this? Rockstar has always been a hit or a miss when it comes to PC ports. GTA:SA was fine, and their most recent PC port, Max Payne 3, was stellar, from what I've been told. But then you have the crap along the likes of GTA IV and LA Noire. There isn't a consistent pattern when it comes to Rockstar and PC ports. GTA V can be awesome like MP3, or it can be awful like LA Noire...there's just simply no way to tell. We'll just have to wait and see, but to just dismiss it as it's "probably gonna be buggy anyways" at this point is unfair...and this is coming from someone who is usually pessimistic about this stuff as well.
  5. As ridiculous as this is going to sound...Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" is pretty damn catchy. I can't seem to stop listening to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-ORhEE9VVg
  6. I don't like it when people are upset about game delays. Would you rather have a buggy, unplayable mess instead? There's already enough of that crap going around most AAA games. Just look at Ubisoft's recent antics to get an idea of that. Don't even get me started on the heavy reliance on day one patching. Honestly, just be patient and suck it up. It's not like the PC version is cancelled. I'd rather wait a few months than to have a crappy port that is riddled with bugs like GTA IV.

Vehicle Modifications Showroom Thread This skin is based on the livery used by the Oak Park Police Department. This download includes high resolution (4096 x 4096) textures for Cj24's DSF Ford Crown Victoria, Lt. Caine's 2006 Chevy Impala, and Kinksta100's Ford Police Interceptor Utility. Multiple unit numbers are available. Please note: High-res textures can only be installed using Open IV. In addition, using high-res textures on more than one car at a time can cause texture loss. As such, standard resolution textures (2048 x 2048) have been included. 7. As cool as this sounds in theory, knowing how the AI is in GTA IV, I'm not sure if this would be such a good idea.
  8. You and me both. I honestly don't think this will get anywhere, TBH. Out of all the past high profile Kickstarter campaigns, only a handful have actually been successful once it was time for launch...if it even launched to begin with. Broken Age, for example, looked very promising and raised a lot of money via Kickstarter...but the development and launch was plagued with problems. My prediction is that this will either become vaporware, or be a complete flop.
  9. Very hard for me to pick a single song, and I tend to go through "phases," so here are a couple of my top songs in no particular order. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vq25ZJwZJzU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v--IqqusnNQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vrEljMfXYo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQSn26zCXYQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qdPOwfw2gQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFg3JuwxKKA
  10. Can't say I'm all too mad that it's delayed, as long as the PC port is good and is not the mess that GTA IV was.
  11. Current WIP...still messing around with the color scheme. Probably gonna end up making the green stripe into a gold color.
  12. I don't mind doing it. Here are some examples of my screenshots to see if they're to your liking.
  13. Yes, read the threads that involve logs and how the person ultimately reaches the solution.
  14. Probably means reading through the support threads and how they are ultimately resolved. That way, you can start building on your knowledge base on how to solve problems involving LCPDFR, etc.
  15. http://www.pri.org/stories/2015-01-06/lebanons-drug-lords-say-theyre-ready-join-fight-against-isis You know your organization is shitty when even drug lords are after you.
  16. The Anvil Gladiator was just released to the Hangar recently. It looks amazing (lighting issues aside):
  17. Never use the excuse of "that's just who I am" and to be honest, it's a cop out. That's how you start digging yourself into a rut that you can't get out of. If you want to change something about your life (things that are within your control, at least), then start taking steps to do it. Don't just sit around and say "that's just who I am, and there's nothing I can do about it." Life is too short for that kind of attitude. And I'm not saying you should make major changes overnight. Just identifying the things you want to change and what you can do about them is a good first step, and it's a hell of a lot better than just saying you can't do anything about it. Holy shit, 6+ essays every week? God damn, that is intense. Even I don't have to do that in college, Jesus Christ. I do agree with you though, high school was miserable. I hated almost every second of it, from the classes and the busy work. TBH, I was probably more stressed in high school than in college from the endless about of homework assignments that just amounted to being huge time sinks that did nothing for me. At this point, I'd just focus on trying as hard as you can to graduate on time...if not, just repeat senior year. Honestly, no one is going to care once you get your HS diploma in into technical school. If you want someone to proofread your essays, seriously, let me know. I'd be more than happy to help you out if I have time once my semester starts again.
  18. I have my moments of doubt and regret (doesn't everyone?), but overall, I'd say that I'm proud of who I am at the moment and how far I've come. I am damn proud about what I do everyday at work as a nursing assistant and finally being able to graduate from nursing school in May (and hopefully get my license shortly after). I've worked hard these past few years, and it's finally paying off.
