Thanks for the feedback. I am including regular resolution textures as well, so it is not a pack of purely 4K textures, which would be pretty ridiculous, I agree. I will also warn people to only use one 4K texture on one model so their game doesn't crap out.

Echoing what others have said...he was able to perform his job correctly and safely. As long as he is able to perform the tasks of his job, there should be no reason why he can't be a firefighter.

I address this very issue in my original post, which is why I'm including regular resolution textures. No one is telling you to use the 4K textures on your cars if you are running into memory problems. They are there as an option. I'm gonna have to agree with you here. I'm imagining the worst case scenario when it comes to modding GTA V. I'm just hoping I'm wrong.

This is an idea that I've been toying around with for a long time now and I have finally decided to go through with it. My goal for this megapack is to create accurate, ultra high definition textures (4K resolution) for a large variety of vehicles featuring the New York City Police Department. This is quite easily the largest project that I have started, so it is going to take a while. Between classes and other commitments, I anticipate this taking at least a month. Textures in this pack will be specifically optimized for the vehicles linked. Below is a general "development map" of the megapack. I will possibly be adding more vehicles as I go along, depending on the availability and time (PS: If anyone knows of a good ELS, NYPD spec Ford Police Interceptor, please let me know). As it stands, there will be a total of 35 skins. Multiple unit numbers will be provided as long as the model supports it. Because running with UHD textures can cause texture loss and memory loss, I will also include "standard" resolution textures for lower end systems. Development Map A. This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. You are the type of person I could easily see driving around a retired Crown Victoria and getting giddy when people slow down and think you're a police officer. First, you're wondering if you can be a cop with a felony, and now this? Something tells me that you are not the most well adjusted person in the world. I'm getting very strong wannabe/whacker vibes from you...and it's unsettling. Regardless of whether it is actually legal or not (I have no idea, since I'm not a lawyer and I don't pretend to be one), wearing anything that could make others identify you as a police officer is probably one of the stupidest things a person can do. Do you know how many people, especially in New York City, hate cops? Do you know how many people specifically target cops? As you probably know, two NYPD officers were shot in their patrol car a couple weeks ago just for being cops. You don't have the training, nor the skill set, to handle someone who is attacking or shooting you unprovoked. Even police officers themselves are not stupid enough to broadcast to the world that they are cops when they are off-duty...and they have the training...you don't. You might not even realize it, but this officer saved your ass. Be thankful for him.

I am currently a nursing assistant at a fairly large regional hospital and will be graduating from nursing school in May. After passing my boards and getting my RN license, I hope to get a job as an RN at the same hospital. After working there for a year or two...I'm planning on hauling my ass to California. I've got family up there and besides the awesome weather, it's also one of the best states to practice nursing. Staff RNs make around $50-$60/hr (albeit with a high cost of living) and enjoy legally mandated nurse-to-patient ratios. It's not uncommon to see nurses at my hospital take on 8 patients on a Med/Surg unit. Meanwhile, in California, Med/Surg nurses can not be legally assigned more than 5 patients. Eventually, I do want to get my Master's to either become an NP or a nurse educator.

When driving, I swear by the first person mod. So naturally, I love any car with a high quality interior. However, I've only managed to find a few police cars with high quality interiors. So far, I've found >Bxbugs123's 2011 CVPI ELS 8 and most of Sentinel55's DSF CVPIs. Do you guys know of any others?
