  1. I do get this error quite a bit. I am talking about "Object Reference Not Set To Instance Of Object". This is not a deal breaker because the game and mod go on as normal. I started this thread because I noticed that this error happens when the police show up to transport a person I arrested and end up putting them in a different police car than the one they arrived in. I think it happens again when a "World Event" (White Blip) occurs and a walking cop (no car) puts the perp in another cops car. Not sure about this though. Anyway I thought you might like this info to help you squish this error for the next release. Keep up the great work. Almost forgot...I use Hardcore mode.

  3. Okay I lowered the "Multiplier" to 100 and I think it made less white blips. I am going to raise it to 600 to see if I get more white blip action or not. I THINK this is what this does but not sure. The one that really stumps me is "Maxnumberofworldevents" because I put it at 20 and I put it at 1 and I do not see any change. Does anyone know what this does?

  5. Not exactly on topic but I would love a bunch of Low Poly Count ELS cop cars. How can you tell if a cop car is high or low poly count?

  7. Well that didnt work. I tried to add a new key binding "ForceLightsOff/On=89" to make the Y key turn off and on headlights but no good. Any experts have any suggestions?

  10. If I install ELS6 can I pull people over and start the pullover script without loauspeaker?
  11. Great mod! I like using the classic dashcam because I like the speedometer and time placement (instead of SNT). How do I get rid of the watermark (version in top middle of screen) and the date in the top left it blocks callout texts). Many thanks!

If I go into the SNT .ini file and totally delete all the key bindings (instead of changing the DisableAllKeyBindings=1) then can I go into the empty keybindings section and add my own, new keybindings? What I am getting at here is I just want 3 or 4 keybindings with SNT (that is why I dont do the DisableKeyBindings=1 setting) but to go through all the keybindings and set them at "0" is a huge task! Can I just delete them all and then add my own?
  13. I was just wondering if there is a way to pull people over without it triggering the loudspeaker? If I activate my lights with the "slash" key they do pull over but to officially trigger the pullover script I hit the shift key and my loudspeaker goes off with some comment. I want to get rid of this comment. Everytime I have ever been pulled over they did not use a loudspeaker so I want to get rid of that. Non-ELS here but I am using the SNT.
  14. As far as phone calls on duty you can go to options on your phone and turn off the "storyline" so you wont get any game related calls. My problem with callouts is that I keep getting a callout at the exact same time as a white blip appears on my radar. I hate having to choose!
  15. Yeah I guess I didnt have to ask as that makes perfect sense now. Thanks for the reply anyways. Oh yeah.....this is why I ask ----> "Added the ability to leave a suspect cuffed and return to him later." This must mean if you dont leave the immediate area I guess.
  16. I had a car with two perps flee on me. It finally 10-50'd and both perps got out to run. I caught the first one and handcuffed him then hit F11 to leave him there and get the second perp (the home page here says you can do this). I caught the second and went back to the spot of the first maybe gone 90 seconds total and he was gone. Is this just a game limitation?

I am getting white blips AND callouts at the same time. I will get a nothing for awile and then I will instantly get a white blip and a callout so I have to choose which one instead of dealing with them both. Can I adjust something so this doesnt happen?
  18. I have windows 7 (64 bit) and all my games are installed OUTSIDE of the (X86) program folder except GTA4. I know almost nothing of how this stuff works so I let GTA4 get installed inside this X86 folder but I wonder what the mechanics of this is/are?. I have read elsewhere that you should not install your games in this folder but I cant figure out why. Is there a REAL reason to do this or NOT do this? What will happen if you install it outside that folder like my other 32 bit games (falcon BMS, rise of flight, ect)? I would like to hear from someone who really knows this answer and is not guessing please. I really want the most out of GTA4 and LCPDFR as I intend to spend alot of time here. Many thanks

  21. You mean the LCPDFR mod installer? I don't think I did. If I reinstall it over itself this time as an admin will that fix it? BTW....thanks for response.

  24. While I test play LCPDFR 95RC every now and again I get a script error. It will say in the upper left corner of the screen what script failed like "pullover script" or whatever. I can never write it down fast enough but is there a file it dumps this info to so I can paste it here to maybe get some help troubleshooting? There is a real strange one: "Object ref not set to an instant" or something that baffels me. Anyway...what log do you guys like to see to troubleshoot?
  25. Thanks for your reply Icon... ...and yes I meant the white blips when I said random crimes. Something still is fuzzy though... If the "multiplier" sets the callout frequency then how does the "time" settings fit into this? I mean, if you are setting min and max time between your callouts then shouldn't THAT define the frequncy? Maybe the "multiplier" is a setting ONLY for the "World Events"? Just a guess....
