  1. The problem with using NT to get through the door is you cannot get the arrested suspect back out. You have to kill him in there. Also...to find the place just start a new game. It is the first mission you do with Roman.

  3. I was doing my normal beat around Algonquin at 3:00 a.m. with realtime running via the NT. I spotted a blue pickup truck with two white males inside run a red light so I got behind them and hit shift to pull them over and they refuse. Fine, hit the lights and sirens and start a pursuit. I have a modded popcycle file that reduces the cops so I don't get 20 of them join my chase but I call for 2 backup cars and a helicopter as per my usual routine. (SIDENOTE: I play hardcore so the helicopter is great if you lose the suspects as it will sort of follow them and you can catch up again..just like a real helicopter! Cool.) Anyway with 3 of us following the suspects go over the north bridge into Alderney on that east-west highway. The chase was going on for about two minutes at this point. All of a sudden the passenger leans out the window with a small mac-10 type weapon and shoots!!! His shots hit the driver of one of the other cop cars and kills him. The cop car goes out of control and hits a barrier!!! SHOTS FIRED!!! So I hit F9 (deadly force authorised) for the first time EVER in LCPDFR. A rare patrol car joins the chase (I mean rare because of my popcycle file)so we are 3 cop cars again and I see an officer lean out and start shooting the driver of the truck. At highway speeds he loses control and crashes. His passenger is quickly cut down as he is still fighting. Code 4. Frikking AWSOME! Anyway...Some more suggestions. I often I pull someone out of a car so I can search them and their car. The only way to make them stick around is to put them in cuffs and make them stay (F11) while I search the car. I also frisk the person. If I find nothing in the car and nothing on them I want to let them go but you cannot get them out of the cuffs. Can we have a option in the future to "release" a handcuffed person so they can walk away? It would be great if when you pull someone over and walk up to the window there could be a random chance that you smell alchohol. Like a message at the top of the screen. This would be a reason to pull them out and search them. You could even make the chance greater on a friday or saturday night! Search them and find booze? That would be cool! Great mod guys. Your work is really great!
  4. Also "Traffic Load" works very well. Search for it. As for too many cops around do a search for a fewer cops "popcycle" file. I have it and in a big chase, if I DONT call for backup, I will only have 1 or 2 cop cars join.
  5. Yeah I have GTA4. It is NE of that park near Hove Beach. You go there in your very first mission I think so Roman can gamble. He runs out the back because some guys in a willard show up and chase you and Roman out of the area.
  6. Got a call for a domestic and it ended up being at that place that Roman plays poker at. The problem is you cant get in the place. No door opens up! I could hear the people fighting in there but could not enter.
  7. Also.....I have not searched too many trunks but I have yet to find anything. Anyone find anything yet?

  9. 1. I love that we can search the trunks now and I understand that we can only do it if the driver is out of the car. This leads me to a question though. When do we search it? If you pull over a driver and want to search his trunk than you have to get him out of the car to search the trunk and if you find nothing then he will never get back into his car and leave (which he is free to do). I wish there was a way to search while they were in the car so we can take the investigation further if we find something or let them drive off if we dont. I guess this could all be fixed if we could make the drivers get back in a car and leave if not arrested but that might be a programming challenge. 2. When do you guys frisk? I mean...under what circumstances? I would like to be able to tell someone to stop (E), put him in cuffs (for my protection), and THEN frisk him before I arrest him or let him go. There is no way to do this? When do you guys use the ALT-R frisk command? If you arrest someone and try to frisk them before transport and you find nothing the guy will be free to go even though you were arresting him for a felony chase! 3. When we handcuff someone and leave them to return later (F11 I think) when we return how do you contine the process? 4. Anyway we can make our backup (ALT-B) stay around until the end of our traffic stop? I hate when I have a car with three thugs pulled over and my backup takes off. Yikes! Having fun though....

  13. "*Asking for the identity card to peds in the street and look if they have any arrest order." This is actually illegal in America. A person on the street who has not broken any laws does not have to produce ANY identification to a police officer. Well, you did say "asking" so that is not illegal (and cops do try to do this) so long as the person can say "no".
  14. Known issue they are aware of. In the mean time you can force a callout (and it is usually a more interesting callout) by hitting ALT F11.
  15. That was a LONG chase! Let me see if I have this correct as I am playing around with mods... So your car (slicktop) was the Noose car, Police was a CVPI and Police2 was a charger?
  16. Riddle me this Batman.... Can I use an older texture file (.wtd) on a newer release of a model file (.wft)? Like if I wanted to use CVPI model (.wft) version 7.4 but I wanted an older skin on it (say CVPI version 6.9 skin (.wtd) as an example can I do that?

  18. Since I went to lowpoly non ELS liverys for my cop cars and I still get taxi bug I wonder if it has anything to do with adding "+livery" to the .IDE file.
  19. But if anyone was going to mod a car with ELS wouldn't police and police2 be the ones that you would want to see with ELS in the game? I guess what you mean is that the player should drive the noose car with ELS and be the only car in game with it as noose cars are non-existent unless you have many stars.
  20. Has is been confirmed that we can make 2 copies of the .ini and.dll fiels and change the 2nd .ini file to 20 different cars for a total of 40 random cars? But how do you have the 2 .dll and 2 .ini files under scripts with the same name? Wont this cause an error when the program goes looking for a file who name you changed?
  21. Yeah I noticed the suggestions was closed as well. Too many chefs! Anyway.....I just wanted to get this out there. When I call for backup during a traffic stop I wish hey would come and sit awhile instead of leaving so soon.
  22. Something I did notice after downloading most of the CVPI versions is that the model file (.WFT) in later versions is quite a bit smaller than in early versions. Some early versions are 5.3MB and later versions are around 3.5MB. Is this because later versions were "streamlined" to be more efficient?
  23. Man it is so frikkin strange. I tried those CVPI cars and ELS6. I have a monster system (i5-2500k, 8GB Ram, GTX580) and I get the taxi bug. I tried the "traffic load" like you have and all it did was spawn rows of the same cars over and over (stock settings). I look at your screen and I see nice variety of cars. Damn you Rockstar. It is an EPIC bug. Very hard to pin down what causes it and how to fix it. I guess I can try "Traffic flow" mod next but it strange how a fix works for you but not me. The REAL ballbuster is I just kinda gave up and loaded low poly liverys for the stock police and police 2 car plus some low poly liverys for the ambulance and I still got the taxi bug with all that memory. Is there some command I have to type to make my Windows 7 64 bit system see its memory?
  24. Actually I just discovered with the latest Spark4 you CAN view the liverys. Learning alot here. This is great!
