I think I was misunderstood. I wasn't saying the carcols file was too big. I was saying if you were to add anything to the carcols file, the carcols file itself will be bigger. I was just pointing out that the carcols in your download file is bigger the the original un-modded file. Sorry for the confusion.

That is the sound I selected for the els files. You can change what sound the ELS vehicle uses through the xml file. USE THIS AS AN EXAMPLE: <SOUNDS> <MainHorn InterruptsSiren="false" AudioString="SIRENS_AIRHORN" /> <ManTone1 AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_1" /> <ManTone2 AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_2" /> <SrnTone1 AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_1" /> <SrnTone2 AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_2" /> <SrnTone3 AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_POLICE_WARNING" /> <SrnTone4 AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_AMBULANCE_WARNING" /> <AuxSiren AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_1" /> <PanicMde AllowUse="true" AudioString="VEHICLES_HORNS_POLICE_WARNING" /> </SOUNDS> That is the default sound settings for the xml. Copy and paste that in the els xml files in my pack. Hope this helps.

In order for the pack to work don't modify anything.

Don't change the name of the ELS file. Change it back to Chicago_pd8

What's messed up about it?

Go to: Grand Theft Auto V\LSPDFR\data open/edit: agency.xml Add in the vehicles section for each agency: <Vehicle>vehiclename</Vehicle>

Spawn them in using simple trainer. https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav You can also add them to the agency.xml to use them with LSPDFR.

I hadn't planned on making transport vehicles, but it's a good idea. Maybe I will in the future.

Sorry man, I removed everything from my gta V game, downloaded this file installed it, and it worked fine. If i could find a way to duplicate the problem I would fix it. Does my other pack do the same thing?

Did you install the packfile limit adjuster and heap adjuster files?

Did you download and install the files listed in the read me to help with crashing?

I'v got an 89 Caprice I'm working on. And an 87 Crown Vic I'll be working on.
