  1. Either ELS is causing problems, or you have an invalid version of AdvancedHook. Try doing a manual reinstall of LCPD:FR.
  2. Then you are problably missing or using an outdated version of AdvancedHook.dll. Try installing LCPD:FR manually. If this post solved your problem, please hit the "Mark Solved" button next to this post.
  3. GTA IV has a built in feature to stop anyone from doing this. Even so, you can still install external saves by deleting dsound.dll and replacing it with xlive.dll, included with LCPD:FR. Keep in mind, though, this disables online multiplayer. However, saves while on duty shouldn't cause a problem anymore. Your crash probably has to do with something else. First, try the following common fixes: Make sure you aren't using a crack Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State any solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. If this post solved your problem, please hit the "Mark Solved" button next to this post.
  4. ELS works by alternating specific textures, with the suffix "extra", on a vehicle. If the actual lights are not the right color, it means their texture is incorrect. If not, then something is causing GTA IV to display extras differently.
  5. It could be a problem with ELS V8. Try troubleshooting ELS directly by: Disable ELS on NON-ELS vehicles in slotcontrol.ini Disable Cruise Lights in the vehicle configuration file Disable ClearRandAIExtras (If Above Works) Re-enable and reduce ClearRandAiExtras distance Reduce Els_Range_Ai Change ASI Loader If not, see https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-r112 for more details.
  6. It's problably ELS being unstable. Try: Disable ELS on NON-ELS vehicles in slotcontrol.ini Disable Cruise Lights in the vehicle configuration file Disable ClearRandAIExtras (If Above Works) Re-enable and reduce ClearRandAiExtras distance Reduce Els_Range_Ai Change ASI Loader For detailed instructions, see this: https://www.lcpdfr.c...ng-crashes-r112

  10. Try this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  11. Try reinstalling LCPD:FR, this time performing a manual install.
  12. Try reinstalling GTA IV's dependencies. If you got GTA IV from steam, you can find them at C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IVInstallers. Also, try installing .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012, and Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package. If this does not work, please post any and all .log files.
  13. Try this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  14. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only", and you are running GTAIV.exe as administrator. If this does not solve your problem, please post your scripthook and advancedhook logs.
  15. Just download the manual installation package, and drag everything to the main directory.
  16. It's possible that as you were editing LCPDFR.ini, you may have accidentally misspelled something. Try reinstalling LCPD:FR if you haven't already. If you are having problems with ELS, try this: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-caused-by-els-r112
  17. Try this: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-caused-by-els-r112 If that does not work, please post all .log files and system specifications. In addition, make sure you have tried these solutions to common errors: Make sure you aren't using a crack Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. 18. Try this: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-caused-by-els-r112 If that does not work, please post all .log files.
  19. There are several ways to change this, however. You can try installing an ENB if your computer is high-end, or use a timecycle mod (such as RealityIV or Realistic Time Cycle) to achieve dramatically better looking visuals.
  20. Try using the visualsettings.dat included with ELS.
  21. Try this: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/troubleshooting-crashes-caused-by-els-r112
  22. Like the error says, you have a corrupt .dll file. Although it is difficult to tell which .dll from your pictures, it probably can be repaired by reinstalling the following: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012, DirectX 9
  23. If you want ELS to behave like GTA IV's regular siren, you can press RCtrl+Backspace to enable "ELS Express Mode". In this mode, it is identical to the regular GTA IV siren except for the diffrent lights.
  24. Try the steps outlined here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/solving-els-v80-crashes-r112 That works because it overwrites ELS's AdvanedHook with LCPD:FR's advancedhook, so you don't need to reinstall LCPD:FR. Just use LCPD:FR's advancedhook.
  25. There are several possible problems: 1.) Advancedhook.dll is invalid; Try changing with the Advancedhook with both what is included with LCPD:FR and ELS. 2.) Advancedhookinit.asi is incompatible, just delete and install LCPD:FR taser's manually. 3.) ELS is not working correctly with GTA IV, see https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/solving-els-v80-crashes-r112 for more details.
