It looks great! I'm super stoked.

The attention to detail for the number of different law enforcement agencies and vehicles is especially impressive.

    Update via Discord:

Here are a few screenshots of progress. I imagine it looks the same as the original release but that is far from the truth. Much of what is being worked on currently is optimizing the pack to run better. Currently the pack is IMHO crap. Mainly in terms of polycount and LOD. For a lot of the models, the 2013 FPIU as a prime example, as soon as you walk more than 3 feet away from it, it turns into a crappy outline of another car. To add insult to injury, that second LOD model (L1) is close to 111k polys. An optimal R* model for LOD L1 is closer to 30k. For those of you who don't understand the importance of this number, the more polys used the harder the game has to work making it much more intensive on the computer. To me these numbers for what is be displayed in game is a crime. More of a lack of understanding on my part in terms of modeling, the next update will be much more computer friendly that will hopefully better impact everyone's game and reduce crashing. The same went for the L0 model which in the initial release was close to 190k Polys. The updated model is about 75k. In addition, the update should include reworked features for all lighting, environmental lighting for the front of the car, and a completely new pattern for the valor on older cars.

    Happy Modding!

@adam enforcers As far as I know there is no special tutorial that describes it best. I just learned from trial and error...alot of trial and error. Its alot of work to get it going just right but once you figure it out it all starts to become super clear.

If you have any questions when setting it up feel free to ask me. I would say PM me but it would probably be better to do it on this forum page so that if anyone else is having issue they can see it as well.

So he is right about needing to set it up as non els setup to make it work with els. I think the official ELS guide made by Lt. Caine describes it best. There's a snapshot below.

I personally think that DRO2 is the easiest to model for. Also, if you intent to use the DRO version of ELS it will help to know a little about how CarCols file works just because the actual rotators are controlled by the file and not ELS. I also drew this up to show how it would look model wise.

Let me know if you need more clarification. Modeling for this can be a ...*****.... sometimes and requires usually a lot of trial and error. I know for my pack I released that rotators alone delayed it quite a bit. But the effect is pretty good in the end.

Theres also this forum on here that is just for people exploring how to use Carcols, its been on here for years now. If you want to know specific info I am also all ears.

    Arizona Ped Collection

What is the Arizona Ped Collection?
Simply, this is a collection of different Arizona themed peds. Note these peds will not be contained in one large pack, but instead put into separate packs. This thread will really just contain any current releases I have and any other future planned peds I plan to make. I'm open to suggestions for Arizona agencies/departments to include.

    Release Date(s)
The collection is an on and off project of mine, really for when I have time off. So, don't expect any immediate releases from this list.

    Status of Peds
Below are the listed items that are currently planned for use. Please keep in mind more may be added in the future. Each section has the following color themes based on completion. Red being no resources available. Orange being resources available, but the project has not begun. Yellow being project work has begun on the current item. Green being the item or model is completed and most likely released.

I'm not too savy on these kinds of edits. But try going into "User Defined Options" on both the Glass Material and the Glass COL and remove the option that says "crash". Im pretty sure that will remove the breaking effect but not sure if the interior or player will still take damage. Have you tried exporting one of the vanilla cars and looking at the settings on there?
Also have you tried this flag

    What is Project Arizona DPS?
Project Arizona DPS is a variety of liveries and themed skins based off of Arizona DPS that will be released throughout the next year(s). This project accounts for multiple vehicle models, vehicle skins, and peds. Taking into account the previous and current styles of the department, the current team will be creating vehicles and peds to well represent the state. All skins will be released upon completion. When everything has been completed, all files will be put into one large mega pack. That being the Project Arizona DPS pack.

    Release Date(s)
Currently, the Project AZ DPS pack has no release date. Proper models of vehicles and peds are needed to even make the project happen. Making the project's length further.

    How to get involved
If you are looking to get involved in Project Arizona DPS there are certain things that are needed, in which the team may not be able to complete. These mainly being fonts, modeling and such. If the team does require assistance I will contact any person who takes the poll and agrees to it. Remember if you are interested in this project, be sure to follow it to get constant updates of progress.

Red being no available model or resources to create the current concept. Orange being resources available, but the project has not begun. Yellow being project work has begun on the current item. Keep in mind that you'll get varying answers if you really start diving into it. Every state has different classifications and definitions of Homicide, what degrees they are, etc. and this goes for every crime. In terms of LSPDFR most mods base stuff off of California and LA kind of law so if you want try the California Penal Code. But, that doesn't necessarily mean whoever made whichever mods your using that they based it off of CPC.

    Hello Mod Community!

So I am using the 2015 Tahoe Development Part uploaded by TheHurk. I have pretty good experience with Zmodeler and I have worked through most hurdles that have come up when modding vehicles but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this model. I get an STR_Failure_3 when I spawn the vehicle. I have covered the forums for fixes to this error and so far I have tried raising the base value on the main dummy from everything from 50 to 300 and I have verified that all the textures are not using a default material.  I only post here because I have exhausted all my options and in the community there is always at least one person that knows how to fix the problem.

    Thanks in advance!

Obviously I have no idea of the possibilities of ELS V, but drawing from experience with ELS in GTA 4 these were features that had to be set up with the car modder and was not necessarily run through the ELS script. Because each light or "extra" is essentially an in game object with a bright light texture on it, it is hard to make these objects change colors because they draw from a preloaded game texture.

I had the same problem with one of my models a while back. Extra's 5,6, and 9 have to be named a little differently. While the normal extra's(1-4,7,8) are set up like this

    Extra_1
         Extra_1_L0
         Extra_1_L1

The other extra's(5-6,9) have to be set up like this

    Extra_9
         Extra9
              Extra9_L0
              Extra9_L1

For some reason you have to get rid of the underscore and add that extra dummy. Hope this helped!
