Here we go again.... Every time a major update releases I step away from lspdfr for months. I have limited time each day to play and this wrecks the "game" for days or weeks. I'm over this. Too much of a hassle, cant just start it up and play. Who in the world is still playing the online component anyhow? Really? GTA V is goddamned near 8 years old. This is not worth the hassle.

For adding free content to their game? You might not realise it, but updates like this have been very beneficial to this community. Not only do they help to refocus eyes on what's now a seven years old game, but they have also provided us with many things. Without the original Heists update, there would have been no police station interior and no police uniforms. Even recently, the Diamond Casino Heist update last year added firefighter and NOOSE uniforms.

There are a number of changes in the game engine in the latest update which are causing this process to take a little longer than usual. Several crashes were discovered in the earlier RAGE Plugin Hook update due to changes in the game, so work is still ongoing to resolve these problems. We will, of course, provide further updates as work continues.

Thank you for posting this Sam. I definitely love lspdfr. I didn’t update gta v just yet. I lucked out and tried a few old tricks to it force an auto update. 😃 I definitely can’t wait to see what else is in store for the future of lspdfr. 🙂

You know I for one said the exact same thing with every update. Like why update this game? However I have agree with Sam. With every update it added more for lspdfr and for us to explore. We now have interiors of the police station which btw I discovered can be customized by agency. If it hadn’t been for the updates we wouldn’t have the lspdfr that we have today. I’m not sure what Sam and the lspdfr team have up their sleeves to make it much more better but I can tell you for certain lspdfr continues to get better with each update. I get that a lot of us are bummed out because now we have to wait for ragepluginhook to update, scripthookv to update and now lspdfr to update. I get the frustration with this believe me I do, because I’ve been there before. Being frustrated doesn’t do anything for us because we still would have to wait for the other plugins to update. My advice is this and take it for what it’s worth, if and when there is another future update to GTAV we can certainly do everything we can to not try and update either because downgrading doesn’t work for us or whatever the case maybe. With each of the updates we have known well in advance when there will be an update. I myself didn’t update gta v just yet because I knew the other updates would take a bit to work out and Sam and the team here are working hard to get it updated but we have to understand they are doing the plug-in updates on their own time. Anyways my hats off to the team here at lspdfr and also the ragepluginhook team and Alexander blade with scripthookv.

All of the issues which were identified so far in both LSPDFR and the RAGE Plugin Hook have now been resolved. We hope to release an updated version of LSPDFR which is compatible with the new game update shortly.

That's the word I got someone told me about a lspdfr 0.4.9 and they're updating it soon

I’m sure Sam will update us once they release a new version of lspdfr. We just got to be patient in waiting. Remember they are working on this on their own time so it could be a while. 😉

Updated this page for the new Los Santos Tuners update, which needs new LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook versions. We will post these, plus the official patch notes for the new game update once they become available.

Didn't realise so steam started auto downloading the update, any way to cancel and launch? or do i need to wait for it to update then open rage and revert? and is there anyway to disable updates? i think i spend more time fixing than playing....if you're lucky you get a month of constant playing until something updates and breaks shit.

And, done! You can download the new version of LSPDFR (and RPH) here: LSPDFR 0.4.9 (Build 7871)

Unfortunately I left my settings on Epic Games on "automatically update." When I redownloaded GTA V I knew I should probably untick it or it would come back to bite me in the ass. Low and behold... it did... Oh well, I'll go find something else to play until the new versions of Scripthook, RAGE, and LSPDFR come out.

I'd rather be excited for the times they update the game, you really don't see it often. Why wouldn't I want new content for the game and mod I play? Seems like a win-win scene for me.

Can't believe you guys hate the game creators for updating the game and stops your mod from working. You should be thankful for the free updates/dlcs and game improvements that they put for free unlike other game devs that milks you for every shitty update they put up.

Any Notes On The LSPDFR Update
  20. -scOfflineOnly was a saving grace when I first started playing GTA/LSPDFR in 2016 lol.
  21. Sadly you’ll hav to wait for the updates. Unless you can successfully downgrade. I do recommend and this worked for me. On the day of the update once you boot up your computer, disconnect from Your internet start steam in offline mode. Then you can boot up gta v with ragepluginhook and it’ll all be offline. Steam won’t update. 😉 Oh another thing I added the command line text -scOfflineOnly to the command line.

I sure wish someone would have warned me that buying the Rockstar launcher version was a horrible idea. LOL Zero reason to use the backup function in Rage if that's the version you have. It's only $15 on Steam so I guess I buy it again for next time and wait for updates this time around. Ive bought this stupid game like 4 times already lol. X360, PS4 and twice for PC lol Ugh...
