FIB/FBI Hostage Rescue Team Ped

 

Description below:

Liberty City FIB Office has just received support from Hostage Rescue Team straight from D.C. Their first operation in LC was a success - only two out of three hostages killed and only four criminals escaped custody!

This is an FIB Hostage Rescue Team inspired/based skin for SWAT ped (you can use it in FBI slot, just install ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> first and then change m_y_swat with m_m_fbi in the filenames). There are 11 variations of the uniform, two balaclava colors (black and green) and a chance of gloves appearing with other heads. There are two versions - FIB and FBI. I took inspiration from CS:GO and Payday 2.

Installation:
 
Put all m_y_swat files in componentpeds.img and all m_y_swat_p files in pedprops.img.
 
You can use this skin in FBI slot, just install ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> first and then change m_y_swat with m_m_fbi in the filenames.

Enhanced Improved Cop with YCHoP

The day (some of) you have been waiting for. Excellent ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>F5544's Improved Cop model (permisson was granted by him) with my textures and '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>YCHoP (3 heads are from Olanov's >Beta Cops mod, permission was granted by him) - 6 new heads. That's right, 9 heads on a ped total. All combined in a one ped. Behold, Enhanced Improved Cop with YCHoP!

I've made a lot of changes to textures. I've changed the badges back to original LCPD ones and added Sergeants and Lieutenants, new heads and short sleeve bulletproof vests with a new texture. Besides that, I added some new textures to increase variety. In total, there are 61 (!) possible combinations of the uniform.

Don't like extra heads? Don't worry, I also made a version with reskins only, no model changes!

WARNING!

You might get a Fatal Error RESC10 - Out of video memory when starting the game. I cannot fix it, and it also happens with unmodified F5544's model on some computers. For most of you, it should work without problems.

Please let me know if you encounter any bugs or if instructions don't work!

Installation:

This mod has only been tested on original GTA IV. I don't own EFLC, and because of that, I can't provide instructions how to install this mod on it. Sorry :(

1. Replace files in GTAIVFOLDER/pc/models/componentpeds.img and GTAIVFOLDER/pc/models/pedprops.img using either SparkIV or OpenIV

- If you want both reskins and extra heads, use files from "Reskins + Heads" folder

- If you want only reskins, use files from "Reskins" folder

1. The fatcop file is a "fix" for fit cops not spawning - nothing was modified, besides increased file size (when cop file has bigger size, and fatcop has smaller, game prefers to spawn fatcops instead of fit cops)

GTA V Civilian Vapid Stanier (Cruiser)

 

Description below:

My first model edit but first released. GTA V Vapid Police Cruiser by Sam and Lt.Caine modified to civilian version. It replaces the washington, although with a bit of tweaking it can replace any car or be added as a new one.

I have removed the lightbar, pushrod and all the police equipment, replaced the wheels and added a chrome grill.

- Use OpenIV to replace the corresponding files within vehicles.img with the .wft and .wtd files provided in this package.

- Open the vehicles.ide file in your Grand Theft Auto IVcommondata folder, find the line beginning with "WASHINGTON" and replace it with

Edited version of TUNES MX-7000 Landstalker. I have changed the lightbar to the default V one, added NYPD style default pushbar and replaced the wheels and rear body with the ones from Lt.Caine's Modified Defaults Pack.

Great stuff; now I can have a full set of V-bar vehicles for non-government departments. You should change your thread title now that you're doing more than skins.

 

On that note, do you think you could whip up a non-vector version of a vehicle? Any vehicle other than a Landstalker or Buffalo (I'm set for those) would do. I'm not sure what models have NOOSE liveries in the work, but one of those would be most convenient.

I'd actually use his models, but Khanage used Caine's models, and those have incorrect manufacturer badges on them. Even though he included the correct badges in his Interceptor and Cruiser texture files, it seems the old textures are baked in somewhere as they are the ones that show. It's the same for the Granger, which is also mislabeled as the "Ranger".
