Coastal Callouts SUPPORT Thread

Featured Replies

After trying for the past few days (including before GTA updated), I've been trying to get this plugin along with those recommended/required in the readme to work but I've always run into the same issue. Without installing any other mods, when I run through the list on the readme, afterwards my GTA V game is no longer functional, with or without using the Rage Plugin Hook. It opens the rockstar launcher, but no game will execute and it'll stop playing the game on Steam. I've validated the files on Steam, and can confirm that the game was working fine with base LSPDFR prior to trying to trying to get Coastal Callouts to work. The game does not produce an error log, however I do get an "EasyHook", "OpenIV", "HeapAdjuster", and "asiloader" log.

asiloader log says "Finished loading *.asi plugins" at the end,

OpenIV log says "TRACE: Log opened", "TRACE: Init started (v. 1.2.0.1)", "TRACE: Game version (v. 1.0.2060.0)", "TRACE: Init finished"

EasyHook log says "Found LhAllocateMemoryEx at 7ffad1b05180", "Found LhFreeMemory at 7ffad1b05270", "Found LhFreeMemory inlined at 7ffad1b08968" at the end of the new entries.

Hopefully that's enough to figure it out, thanks.

Yes, Wilderness Callouts still works on the latest version of LSPDFR, and you can use the features of Coastal Callouts to respond to them. I am working on some more land based SAR callouts but they're

I seemed to lose the ability to edit the comment above, so I'm just going to add onto it with the correct format.

Have you read README.txt, and double-checked it at least twice? Yes.

Did you watch the installation tutorial video? No, I will watch this once I've posted this.

Have you installed a compatible gameconfig.xml file? If so, link to the gameconfig you installed. Yes, from the RagePluginHook discord https://de.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars. The one on the ReadMe was not updated.

Have you installed a HeapAdjuster mod? If so, link to which one you installed. Yes, the one you recommended.

Did you install the OpenIV.asi from OpenIV? Yes.

What game version are you on? 2060.

What version of RagePluginHook and LSPDFR do you have installed? The updated ones for version 2060.

Have you installed Lenny's Mod Loader? If so, have you tested it with any other mods, and did it work? This was my first time installing LML, so I hadn't tested it with other mods.

What version of LML do you have installed? Right-click on "ModManager.Core.dll" in your GTA V folder and check the version. These instructions are pretty vague but if this is what you're looking for, 0.3.7335.36269.

Upload a copy of the following files from your GTA V main folder: RagePluginHook.log is the only one that is in my main folder, however it is outdated and does not update when I try and open my game.

RagePluginHook.log

vfs.log

modmanager.log

Upload a screenshot of your GTA V/Plugins/LSPDFR folder.

Upload a screenshot of your main GTA V folder.

Upload a screenshot of your GTA V/lml folder, and your GTA V/lml/downloader folder (if you installed the LML package with the mod manager)

Describe your problem in detail. Explain what you have already tried to solve the problem. Read the post above.

Sorry for not following the correct format earlier.

The fact that your RagePluginHook.log file isn't updating and your other log files are missing indicates that there's something else going on here. I haven't tested any of this on the latest game version yet so there's not much I can do to help. Try removing/renaming vfs.dll from your main GTA folder and then see if you can get the game to load. If it still doesn't load, then the issue is unrelated to LML or the Coastal package.

Just did a fresh install with only the coastal callouts required files and am now getting a game crash after a long loading screen, however the logs DO generate. I believe they didn't generate because one of the recommended mods prevented the game from opening thus not initiating some of the other logs (and not having run the game with the files the logs are based on beforehand). Here are the logs now as requested.

What happens if you disable the Coastal Callouts package, does your game start OK then? Which mod do you think prevented the game from opening?

If you're going to use the EUP peds config for Coastal Callouts you should add the additional entries provided to your wardrobe.ini. There is info in the "EUP Optional" folder of the plugin/scripts download.

The solution for this mid-loading crash seemed to solve itself, however I've found the culprit for the game not opening and it is the CScenario Patch linked in the ReadMe. https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/cscenariopoint-patch, this file put in my directory causes my game not to open which in the readme is "STRONGLY ADVISED".

OK. I'm guessing that hasn't been updated for the latest game version yet.

I watched the video 4 times. Followed the instructions to a T.  Could not get the plugin to load using: F4.

Watched the video again. Downloaded all items again.  Put in the GTA folder... Again.

Still no go when trying to load the plugin.  Error: "LoadPlugin": Invalid argument specified for parameter "reloadWhenModified" of console command "LoadPlugin".

I'm trying to get this game going for my son.. but, im feeling a bit defeated at the moment.  Can someone help me out with this?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

It looks like you're not getting LSPDFR loaded correctly. Have you loaded LSPDFR before? Did you install LSPDFR itself before installing Coastal Callouts? Please show a screenshot of your Plugins folder, and a screenshot of what you're typing in the F4 console to load the plugin.

Agreed.  Something is not jiving.  I have not loaded LSPDFR before.  I believe i did install LSPDFR by itself...  I didn't know Coastal Callouts  were two different things...

F4: Load Plugins   Nothing appears on this spot....

Tried:   LSPDFR and a few more. including:

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins

OK you haven't actually installed LSPDFR. Download and install it from here:

After you install LSPDFR, you will need to go on duty, create a character, etc. Then you'll be able to start playing Coastal Callouts (which is an addon to LSPDFR).

when I load lspdfr with coastal callout i get an error notification saying that I need to verify my game flies. I have tried verifying them and uninstalled gta 5 and nothing work and I don't know what to do.

This is really weird. I've had Coastal Callouts installed with all the mods I'm using now, but I had to reinstall the version of GTA5 that I'm using for LSPDFR, so I was putting everything back together, and for whatever reason, adding CoastalCallouts is making things crash. I can put the plugins in fine, and it just tells me CC isn't loaded properly (due to the missing LML files), but when I install the LML files (which I've done before, so I know how it works...), I get a crash. Right now, I'm just running things without Coastal Callouts -- but I really wanna be able to use this awesome package and can't figure out what the conflict is.

Go back through the installation process and check that each thing has been installed. I'm guessing you need to update the gameconfig and make sure the heap adjuster is installed.

I knew it was something simple I missed! I could've sworn I updated the gameconfig as I was going through all my addons, but I apparently hadn't. Put a modified one in, and it works now. Thanks!

I am a noob when i comes to GTAV modding. I have tried to google the issue but i cant find anything on i. I dont want to install EUP but i cant find the "Peds-NOEUP.xml" file that the README says to rename so I dont know what to do.
