The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

When I tried to install new vehicles, I noticed that OpenIV wanted an update. However, it doesn’t actually update and just says update required. This is preventing my game from launching. Is there a way to fix OpenIV?

    A bunch of people have this issue lately. 
    1. Remove the OpenIV.asi; opencamera; asiloader files manually from your GTAV folder.

    2. Try and do a clean reinstall of OpenIV.

    3. Reinstall the files.

    You need help but aren't sure what you need to do / where you can get help?

    I installed a clean copy of GTA, installed LSPD:FR and RPH. I uninstalled OpenIV and ensured I had no ASI files in the game folder.  I reinstalled the files and GTA V crashes when launched through RAGE or Steam. OpenIV continues to have update buttons for the loader and the ASI.

    I believe that this may be interfering with the newer version of either RPH or LSPDFR, and OpenIV needs to release a patch fix. I have no idea.

    OpenIV hasn't released an updated version of the ASI files. That's the problem.

    I did what you said before, nothing works. Could you upload the ASI files if that doesn't bother you? If it does or you can't, could you spend the link where you downloaded it?

     

    I downloaded it from the main page of OpenIV and didn't worked.

    No, that's against the TOS of OpenIV.

     

    I didn't download the files anywhere, I just updated my mods folder and it worked. Like it always does. And I've had OpenIV installed for years. 
    Not quite sure what causes it exactly, I assume some corrupt OpenIV files or permissions.

    OpenIV released a statement that they are aware of this issue. They are no permanent fixes yet.
