Just like the title says, it updated and I was forced to install the "rockstar games launcher" on my desktop now when I go to launch rage it loads regualr GTA V. Any ideas?

Bro me too think we have to wait for updates once again update mods etc. oh man ;(

Hi there, 

 

You should still be able to play. Just launch GTA V story mode first, load into that, then tab out and launch RPH and wait for it to hook.

It works without plugins, loading plugins is where the crash is at.

YUP! SAME ISSUE! FUCKING ROCKSTAR SCREWING SHIT UP AS ALWAYS! 😤😤 Why does Rockstar  North have to mess everything up and make everything so god damn difficult! It almost makes me want to revert back to IV.

Try setting your plugin timeout threshold to 60,000.  My LSPDFR would crash a lot when loading all the plugins I had, but as soon as I changed that variable, I stopped experiencing crashes.

@Zenitae is right, however.  You can still play LSPDFR as long as you launch GTAV, go into story mode, and then launch RAGE so it hooks onto the process.

When I try to hook rage on while in GTA 5 story mode, it just exit's the game and does the same shit over and over.

oh..I finally found it . thankyou so much

If anyone else is still having issues, please do the following:

1. Open your RagePluginHook settings.

2. Go to the Plugins section and don't load anything on startup.

3. Launch GTA V on its own.

4. As soon as you get the GTA V window (before the Rockstar intro and flashing police lights), launch RagePluginHook.

5. Allow the game to load.

6. Press F4 (or whatever your console key is) and then type ReloadAllPlugins.

7. Go on duty.

I don't understand how this is working for you. I do the exact same steps but when I try to load LSPDFR plugin, it just crashes each time and on the bottom it says loading lspdfr constantly but the game still plays fine. 

 

Made a video because so many people were askin'

I keep having these problems idk if anyone else having these issues with these pop ups and idk why but even I had to go and install 0.4.2 just to see if it would workout but it didn't now this is a headache for me and others Rockstar messed this up

There's been a RPH update today which fixes this issue. Would recommend you download it ASAP 🙂

It's also worth noting that it won't work with ScriptHookV either as that's currently outdated because of the new RPH update - this also means ELS will not work for the time being. I'd recommend making a new support topic (if you don't already have one open) and posting your RagePluginHook log in there, so you don't hijack this thread 🙂
