The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Let us disable the idiotic "buffs" LSPDFR gives pursuit target vehicles.

I'm not even going to get into how stupid it is that LSPDFR decides to ignore physics and make pursuit target vehicles weigh 10 tons and impossible to pit. Whoever decided to add that "feature" is a potato in the first place, but not giving us an option to disable it is an atrocious decision. It's not fun to have 20 mph pursuits drag on endlessly because you can't pit the suspect. Hey, maybe it is fun for 0.000001% of people, and the developer responsible falls in that minority, but that's not a reason to make the rest of us suffer.

Rant over, but I just want to reiterate how stupid this change was in the first place, and not giving us an option to disable it is a whole new level of horrible development.

Reason #4594859823924h398334893485348 why LSPDFR should be open source.

Lmao, someone pissed, if you don't like how cars weight you can always make a Script or plugin to LSPDFR which would improve this problem, May i ask also what vehicle you couldnt pit?, I never had problem with using PIT on other cars, its obvious you will have problem with using PIT on Truck or mini-van more than on bike.

I know what he's referring to; he referring to the fact that pursuits tied to callouts seem to make the vehicles you are chasing harder to stop because the vehicle seemingly isnt affected by the players vehicle. It may not be the case for pursuits that happen at random. I say this because I myself have noticed mid pursuit that I cannot pit a vehicle because it's as if i'm hitting a brick wall on even the smallest of vehicles but yet when another unit pits the vehicle it happens just fine. I think the developers created it that way to add immersion from a spectator standpoint and I agree with the author, this be corrected in the next update if the developers do find that it is still an issue.

Well but if this was the case more people would report this issue, i also have tons of callouts plugins and never had problem with using PIT on cars, but on more heavy vehicles it is normal that you cannot slam to him that easy, also it may be something to do with gta v handling not LSPDFR mod, most people also don't seem to understand that this is only a mod and not dlc made by rockstar so there will be always some kind of bugs.

I know exactly what he's saying, the called out pursuits that you have to push a button to respond to seem to generate cars that are harder to hit versus just regular cars driving down the road that you can smash, crash and pit with ease. No OP is not talking about trying to take a dump truck off the road he's talking about ANY vehicle that is involved with a callout you respond to from dispatch, try reading carefully and understanding ever detail that I and the OP are stating because clearly some of you are missing the point and being extremely ignorant about it all at once.

I believe it is GTA V physics, not LSPDFR nor plugins

It's LSPDFR, you could easily (Not unrealistically easy but a LOT easier) pit vehicles during 0.3

I don't know...

Yes it has recently changed and gotten harder for some reason. Now it's nearly impossible to PIT from straight behind, you have to get big speed and hit the back very hard, and then they'll just push you outta the way and keep going. Definitely is annoying

Yep, can confirm this has actually been an issue for a while (even on 0.3) I made a post about it last year, but no-one took any notice of it.

I've been in a police SUV and tried to pit a Panto, and it's impossible. I either bounce off, or the cars grind against one another and I end up getting pushed into a wall/lamp-post/another car. It's incredibly frustrating to chase a car that weighs circa 900 tons

Always happy to try and help with LSPDFR Support

I've started making skins - feel free to check them out HERE
