Windows 7

Featured Replies

I almost bought GTA4 but I saw the system requirements said Windows XP or Windows Vista. I have Windows 7 on a Dell XPS15. I wasnt sure if I could download it so I did an internet search and came up with conflicting results. Does anyone know for sure if I can install and succesffuly run this game if I'm running Windows 7? Thanks.

Most of us here (including me) run GTA 4 on Windows 7 without problems. It's not listed because W7 wasn't simply released when GTA 4 hit the stores

Sadly, if you call Rockstar, the first thing they tell you is that the game is not supported on Win7... I was just trying to bypass the Social Club issue and they told me they could not help me because I was using Win7. But the game runs fine in single player with Win7. Well worth the $15 I spent on the game.

I use W7 without any problems.

Thanks guys for your input. I've purchased GTA4 from Steam and it's currently on my way to the computer. I've a few of the installation videos on YouTube and will hopefully be playing it tonight.
