Subjects wrongly becoming dead?

Featured Replies

Anyone get this one? I get it regularly with StopThePED and some of my traffic callouts.

I think it has something to do with LSPDFR, StopThePED, and perhaps the callout.

I've included a trace in case it might be useful.

Are you using Better EMS?  I've had that kinda happen.  For me there is a callout where there was a homicide and there is a witness with the dead victim in the middle of the street.  Witness tells you the type of car and you are supposed top go find.  I like to clean up the scene before I leave.  I call EMS (Better EMS) and they come and revive the victim.  They go into the ambulance and then I get a notice like you saying the victim died.  What?  EMS revived him/her and walked into the ambulance.  I just figure victim died en-route to hospital.  But that happens every time.  There is a glitch where if you call LSFD Ambulance (LSPDFR) the EMS might save that person and then the person just stands there, doesn't go into the ambulance.  So I'm not sure which plugin has the conflict it has happened to me to.

Might be worth testing LSPDFR with just STP and AssortedCallouts and see if you can replicate this issue. Then you can pinpoint it down to either STP or AC. And if it's those, I'd say its AC.
I have found AC unstable hence why it's not in my big list thread but I am pretty sure it didn't cause any issues like this, it would just crash the game from ambient events.

it's a glitch when detecting ped status after the arrest happened. i'd just ignore it.

I think that the reason that this happens, as well as the suspicious amounts of people driving cars that aren't actually theirs and the little things that never seem to add up with PEDs bugging out has to do with the callout system, the PED management system and database, and perhaps the way LSPDFR handles things to begin with with it comes to plugins requesting information.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I definitely think there's something really wrong when a callout, a plugin, or something requests a PED's ID. When does it generate a PED? When does it store a ped? How does a plugin know that the ped it wants is already stored? I don't think LSPDFR has all of these questions answered, as the strange behavior behind generating ID and PEDS is causing a lot of bugs and even the occasional NPE with callouts and plugins.

I hope this gets fixed up and improved in the next version, which I hope is soon.

It started happening to me after I installed StopThePed and Ultimate Backup.

It doesn't matter, but it sure ruins the immersion.
