Are you going to be updating this for 0.4.3?

No worries! Your .ini is pretty damn cool too, by the way👍🤩 And thanks for sharing the love with Jurisdictions+ from @TreadRed😊

  • Correct, testing a mod in a stable environment is not a way to tell if its outdated or not working properly.....    Wut?   Even if the crashes were magically made up by sssneaky, j

Added all the callouts that at least have one callout working in them for 0.4.1. Let me know if there's any more please! Next thing I'm going to add which cars I use for the main police slots as I've got fully stable and really clean models working 100% now and I'll look into uploading my .ytd files so people can have liveries that I use if they want.

Turns out I'm not done testing at all. Added new things to be tested on the list which have reportedly helped with LSPDFR not crashing. I'm also going to test Computer+ and LSPDFR+ again as they just add so much to the game, it feels wrong to leave them out. I'm going to work out what the hell to do to make them function! I've basically given up on callout testing as there's to much to deal with, most work, some don't. I'm just going to leave it at that.

Added and tested these, thanks to @dymedef for recommending them. These have stabilized the game a great amount. Helped crashes caused by ambient events and allowed the game to flow better under pressure from multiple police, ambient events and just general clutter that would normally lower fps. Also tuned my radianceV settings down so the coronas don't look like active star systems.

Heap Limiter

Packfile Limiter

CWeaponInfoBlob Limiter

Added LSPersistance by @x otikoruk x to a seperate section. I love this mod but my system cannot handle having this much stuff hang around. Great mod for beefy PCs though.

More to come!

Testing LSPDFR+ and Computer+ led to multiple crashes. Some within the first traffic stop, some within 20-30 minutes of the game. They need to be updated imo. At the same time. Going to stick to using Interaction+ Lite computer to do arrests, citations and summons. It's just to bad because the MDT, court system and extra charges provide even more immersion. Hopefully they can be updated together and not have conflicts in the future. They have once again been removed from the stable list. Going to do my car list soon.

LSPDFR+ works fine on its own I believe, Computer+ certainly requires updating due to crashes

OK! I'll take your word for it because I've heard others say the same. I'll give LSPDFR+ a test on this build without Computer+ and post the results in an hour or so.

Removing LSPDFR+ again. Crashed my game while in a regular traffic stop within 20 minutes of playing. Not to mention it isn't showing people summoned for court unless they're tied to Computer+ so it's a no from me. It might be working for other people but I don't see the point honestly.

Please don't start a topic like this if you need to remove plugins yourself, that work perfectly fine, I mean it is obvious that you don't have a lot of knowledge and that your game is just messed up. And of course, you can think that they are not working but you may be influencing some 12-year-olds and make them believe those plugins are not working, which is not really nice to the author

? I've already explained this in the thread and to multiple people that this is my experience with the plugin on the build I'm using. And clearly I have no idea what I'm doing yet I'm able to run nearly every other mod + more but not that specific one. You create a thread, spend over 75 hours compiling it, testing it with LSPDFR+ included if you're so adamant about it being "perfectly fine". Lol dude, talk about salty. 🤣 "Obvious that I don't have a lot of knowledge and that my game is just messed up" Yet I am now on 50 minute straight of no crashes, done over 15 traffic stops, 5 callouts on the current build. Funny that.

Also not to mention I've never said anything bad about the mods, I've only said they aren't compatible with this build. Should spend more time reading then being salty over nothing imo.

How do you judge by your own "experience" that a plugin (that you call a mod) are not "compatible" with the current build. That absolutely makes no sense. Post your RagePluginHook.log so people can see why it crashed your game, because without reading logs yourself or letting other people do it, this is just a waste of time.

It either works for an hour or it works for 10 minutes and breaks and I test whether it does one or the other about 5 times. That's how I determine whether or not it's stable for this build. Like I said, you spend over 70 hours testing and building a mod list yourself and you provide your own logs to people, I'm not interested in waiting days for responses from authors of outdated mods. 🤣 You are a waste of time. I'm going back to testing now.

That's not how you determine if something is outdated or not.

Ok so make your own list with these mods that are "working perfectly" and can play LSPDFR without crashing for at least one hour.

Correct, testing a mod in a stable environment is not a way to tell if its outdated or not working properly.....

Wut?

Even if the crashes were magically made up by sssneaky, just reading the comments makes it 100% clear the plugin (which is also considered a mod, a mod is an umbrella term for any modification to the base game... mod is quite literally a shorthand for modification, which you can look the definition up) is not working correctly. If a plugin is not working correctly then the plugin will create problems, most specifically with plugins accessing the same information but are actually working properly.

It's not disrespectful to claim a mod that has been basically abandoned is not working properly. Especially when Albo (the author) himself has said he doesnt plan on working on his mods outside of critical updates and even then I'm sure he has far better things to do than update mods that he made open source for the community to use and create newer versions of. Quite literally everything in LSPDFR+ besides the court system is in Interaction+ and Stop the Ped, Arrest Manager is basically completely included in stop the ped and I believe ultimate backup has a few of its features as well. Traffic Policer is really his only mod that has not been adapted and recreated by the community (but works perfectly fine still).

Instead of informing people of his testing he should have just kept all this information to himself yeah? So that no one can gain access to the work he did, which he does in his free time to help out the community. Seems hypocritical to throw around accusations of defamation when you yourself are doing it in his very thread....
