Ultimate back and patrol vehicles

Featured Replies

Hello,

What program uses the patrol vehicles for LSPDFR? I have edited the default and custom XML files in Ultimate back up to my liking. I always see police1 and police3 patrolling  everywhere though. Paleto Bay I want it set for the sheriff slots but its always police1 and police2.  What exactly do I need to change to reflect what I want? I have gone through and edited both XML files but nothing changes. Please if anyone can help me.

Hello,

To change the regions in which they spawn, you can either try editing it in "customregions" and "defaultregions" in the Ultimate Backups folder.

Yea I have edited both and still all I see is police1 patrolling everywhere. Is there a specific spot to edit it at? I enter my own slots when it shows blaine county and what vehicles to spawn

That I am not sure of, you may need to take out Ultimate Backup, re-download and install it and try again. I would say it would go under the Custom one though.

Ok will try it when I get home, am I editing the slots under the zone where there is already a vehicle slot listed? Like I’m just adding more slots correct

You need to edit the vehicles in lspdfr>data>agency or lspdfr>data>custom>agency if one is there.

For any agency that has a vehicle in it between <Vehicle></Vehicle> and a flag of <SpawnsAmbiently> you will see those units patrolling whatever region that agency covers.

Ultimate Backup files have nothing to do with units patrolling, they only respond as backup when you call for backup using the Ultimate Backup menu.
