LSPDFR vs LSPDFR+ Pursuit AI

''Unfortunately, this no longer works in LSPDFR 0.4 as the developers have completely altered the default pursuit AI.''

From the LSPDFR+ Documentation pdf.

Mod it until you break it.

I tested LSPDFR+ pursuit AI by enabling it in the ini file and it seems to have effect. When you select "safe", backup units don't ram suspect's car; when "slightly-agressive" is enabled, they try to perform PITs and so on. I didn't notice any difference in terms of intelligence though.

Interesting, probably still has some slight functionality like you mentioned but not working perfectly. Does it make PIT'ing easier? I'm having a  real hard time doing PIT maneuvers in 0.4 (the suspects are like stuck on rails or something)

It doesn't, unfortunately. Same thing happens to me 😂. It looks like some car models are more easily "PITable", if you will, than other models.

I just ended a pursuit and the AI execute a pit on a fleeing vehicle just fine. I wasn't even expecting a pit from the AI, it actually went very well. Wish I had it recorded to show you guys. I was astonished!!

Yes, it is a new feature in LSPDFR. What pursuit AI had you activated, default LSPDFR or LSPDFR+?

I'm not so sure honestly.

That works fine for me too, but I'm talking about doing the PIT yourself.

Mod it until you break it.
