Unable to disable/ change key for default computer

Featured Replies

On the new update I am unable to change the key to activate the default computer. I would like to fully disable it as I use Computer+ and it conflicts with my ELS keys. No matter what I change it to in the ini file, left on the DPad brings up the computer.

Also wanting to change the keybind for the vanilla computer. I tried changing it to a different key as well as putting none, and DPadLeft still opens it up. I hate how it messes my ELS up.

Update: tried the fix LMS suggested however DPadLeft is still bringing up the computer

Another update: I've seemed to find a temporary work around for this issue. If you hold and then release left on the DPad you can activate lights and not bring up the computer.

The secondary context key is not exposed via the in-game settings menu, instead you need to manually rebind it via the user.xml file (C:\Users\Username\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\SomeNumber\control). Add the following to change the key to X for instance. We understand that this is not ideal and hope to resolve it shortly.

This doesn't work. All it does is changes the computer key from Q to X, on your keyboard. We want to change the gamepad controls, because we cannot use ELS anymore. Not the keyboard controls.

To everyone with key issues (especially with the Police Computer): I have updated the 0.4.1 download, please reinstall and try again. I hope it all works now.
