Make sure in your ragehook controlpanel under gamesettings, that "forced window" is checked. You can also check the "borderless window" if you'd like.

For some reason it Rage does not like starting up in full window mode. I had same issue..

Thanks i found it out on youtube. I fixed it by loading GTA V when social club window shuts then launch Rage Plugin Hook and it worked

In the general tab set the threshold to 50000 (FIFTY THOUSAND) and tick disable text rendering.
in the advanced setting make sure nothing is ticked.
in the game setting>command line switches make sure the only things ticked are directx11 and forced windowed mode.

I followed your instructions. The game still crashed. I have absolutely no MODS in the game. I deleted the folder and reinstall GTA 0.4. Loaded Rage and the game crashed the same way.

Post your ragepluginhook.log file here, and hopefully someone can identify your problem.

hello, on the old version no problem while now my game freeze and this without mods or plugins, anyone knows where it could come from? Thank you for your help @Sam

I recently installed 4.1 and made sure to have the updated versions of Rage Hook, Script Hook, and Simple Trainer. I can load into the game just fine, run around and play, but if i try to use the character i just created it will just put my player at the lockers with a fixed cam, and i cant move as the game is trying to load but LSPD First responders, keeps crashing. if i try to reload all plugins it will just reload like usual but i will stay stuck. Clueless as of right now. going to try installing from yet another clean file save (if i can find it again, just cleaned my computer and mightve accidentally deleted it) and will update if anything changes.

The game has a tendency to become very glitchy graphic wise with add-on vehicles. With 0.3 I had no issues with the add-on vehicles, but with 0.4 it causes the game textures to go into a full blur.

hey sam i've updated lspdfr a while ago and just recently updated to this version but when ever i ask for identification lspdfr crashes... what can i do to fix this problem. With 0.3 this problem was never an issue.

try following these steps

Start rage, press settings
In the general tab set the threshold to 50000 and tick disable text rendering

in the game setting>command line switches make sure the only things ticked are directx11 and forced windowed mode.
