Using PA during Pursuits?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I can't find the control for yelling at the suspect through the PA during a pursuit,
I remember in the last version it was either shift or control (Not sure which) but neither of those work now??

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

it's shift, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

Hi Julien,

Thanks for your response, I'm beginning to think the command may have been removed.
"Shift" doesn't appear to do anything in a vehicle any more whilst under pursuit conditions.
It only appears to be used to make my character run whilst on foot.

Cheers

Using a controller with X as my traffic stop button; pressing it when close works fine.

He's talking about the shouting through the megaphone to pull the driver over. It's a nice bit of immersion when it works.

Yes, during pursuits, I press the traffic stop button when close and it plays the audio. I'd assume the traffic stop key would do the same.

You're saying that when you're in a pursuit you press LeftShift, the same key you used to start the traffic stop, makes your character yell through the megaphone and not stop the traffic stop...?

Well, there shouldn't be a traffic stop to stop during a pursuit in the first place, though.

If we're talking about during a traffic stop only, you can press the horn button/key which will play a speech and immediately make them pull over no matter how bad the spot.

So you're saying LeftShift in a callout for pursuit should make your character shout out the megaphone? Ohhh epic it does as well I just tested in game, I didn't know that! Cheers for this info.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your responses, Sorry it's taken me so long to respond...been rather busy! 😃

"Left Shift" during a pursuit doesn't work on my version at all, when i press the horn button to initiate a traffic stop it doesn't make any speech either.

Just gives a quick blip of the siren.

I'll try pressing the "E" but so far i'm not having much luck...it's a feature i really miss!!

Cheers guys!

I found the answer to this. When you are playing with a custom character, it is NOT possible to yell through the megaphone. But if you are playing with a preset character, then he/she WILL YELL through it when you press the traffic stop key.

It seems like only the 'original' cops in the game can use it.

Makes a lot of sense.
