Not a GPU problem, I can assure you.  Same here, I actually have like 4 or 5 other lines I was told to put in that systematically disables half of lspdfr 0.4 from ambient crimes to ambient poli

Hi guys,

i had the same problem with texture loss. Sometimes it quite start at the beginning of the patrol, sometimes after a few callouts.

What i am thinking is, that the texture loss is a combination from lspdfr 0.4/4.1, plugins and a number of modded cars. At this time lspdfr takes more resources from your system as 0.3 version.

With just a clean gta and lspdfr install i have no texture loss but sometimes frame drops in the northern region (Sandy Shores, Paleto).

So i think we have to wait until there is an update for lspdfr or/and ragehook.

Greetings!

I've had this issue for a long time, and I guess I can give the community some input on it. For me, reducing the number of custom vehicles to 0 and downsizing from 4k to 2k helped, but not for long. The issue is now back again and nothing helps. I feel like there is a memory leak, caused by lcpdfr which constantly takes away more and more memory leading to texture loss. This is quite a global problem, and really needs looking into.

I managed to fix my texture loss by lowering all vehicles from 4k to 2k, using gameconfig with .5peds .5 traffic and lowering my textures to normal.. Played for over 2 hours and no texture issues..

This new 0.4 is very demanding.

What game config do you use? None of the newest ones have a 5x 5x option.

Which data you use, 0,1 vehicle + peds?

you can try first with 1x peds, 1x vehicles.... if it's not suitable (performance wise), you may select the lower ones until you feel happy

Yeah i know, but everything under 0,5 looks very bad in a city like ls/la .....

Do someone use the alternative to Albos modding pack Extra Police Car Slote ?

I use .5 peds and .5 traffic.. Still plenty of traffic in the city. Just keep your population density maxed.

Hi guys,

Right now I have 8gb ram but if I get another 8gb additional will the problem be solved ? Because I heard it’s a memory leak problem.

No. I have 32gb ddr4 and still have texture issues.

Ive been having this issue for awhile now and for the first time ever this issue literally made my entire computer crash. I had to do a forced reboot just to use my computer again, and I dont have any mods installed except lspdfr and i got a i5 2.70ghz, 16gb memory, and a msi amd radeon rx570 8gb.

Ugh, I came hoping there was a definitive fix for this.

I run GTAV on a Ryzen 5 3600, GTX1660ti, 32GB of 3200 ram and an SSD...

And it runs WORSE than my old I7 6700k with a GTX 780ti with half the ram and off an HD.

I've fiddled with all of the settings, I am using the SAME cars and same textures, I used nvidia's "optimized" settings and after 15-20 min I start losing textures. I know I'm not pushing anywhere near the CPU or GPU limits. It's frustrating.
