I see that there is a menu to change station or  turn off radio in police car, but is there a way to save that setting?  Seems strange to me to have music playing while on patrol and listening to police radio.

Also interested getting rid of this

Yeah i get the same thing. Its as if the game thinks its still in main story mode and not LSPDFR. The Police vehicles become regular car radio wise when you try to get into them. Only way it doesnt do that for me is if i go and collect a Police car 'directly' from the Police garage. Any Police vehicle out in the game world always defaults to music radio. Usually i use my mouse wheel to switch music radio stations in my off duty pink mini car. I kind of got the music to turn off in the Police car this way but the mouse wheel didnt properly show me radio stations. it just seemed to turn it off.

It has come to my attention that scanner no longer functions ; @Fox7 reported issue would arise upon death , albeit , vehicles acquired via garage are nominal. Not the case with me , issue is apparent from the get-go. Note , said issue was absent on my first beat ; granted , one has been fiddling with mobile radio...@Sam

Interesting, I've been spawning from the RageHook console and had no issues with the scanner

One "fix" I finally came across is to go to vehicle options in simple trainer and enable default radio station to OFF.  Save trainer on the second page of the options section and it should remember your setting.
