tango21 reacted to Luce.Benson in I can't call swatDo you have UltimateBackup installed?
Also, you can download LSPDFR again and replace the backup.xml and agency.xml inside lspdfr/data

tango21 reacted to JAM in Help a lost soulHave a look at this: https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/
There's a number of YouTube videos that have been released that assist many users with how to install not only LSPDFR but a wide variety of modifications. I'd post one here but there's really a lot of different good ones out there, so take a look around.
There are also unofficial discord servers that assist with support for game related issues and walking through how to do certain actions. If you've installed and played LCPDFR (GTA IV Mod) it can be initially daunting to figure out how modding works on GTA V but it is quite similar. I will say however that after reading/watching a few guides and speaking to community members it makes sense quickly and shouldn't be hard in no time. I had the same apprehension when I first started modding my game, but quickly learned the how with the above resources. Not to mention that since the game has been out for so long and majority of the difficulties of modding have been ironed out and it's far more streamlined/easy.
Just take you're time and add one thing at a time and test to ensure stability. With most mods as long as their installed correctly you should have minimal issues that are easily de-bugged with some digging.
Best of luck!

I posted the same issue in the release thread, and LMS said they would look into it : )
There's plenty of lefties in this world, and the immense majority use the arrow keys for movement, and customize their controls entirely. The Interaction / backup / pursuit menus controls used to be the same as the vanilla interaction menu, ergo the same as the cell phone controls (I binded mine to the numpad keys). But in 0.4, they're hardcoded to the arrow keys. But LMS confirmed it was an oversight and apologized for it. Might be a while before the hotfix tho...

tango21 reacted to LMS in LSPDFR SYNCYou will only see this on your profile if you have synced a character to our server. In order to sync a character, you have to create it after you have set up LSPDFR sync or you have to manually re-sync your character you have created before. To do that, go to the character menu from the pause menu, select your character and press spacebar to sync it. You will then see the LSPDFR Characters tab on your profile.

tango21 reacted to Axiom in LSPDFR 0.4 - Now AvailableSetup.exe worked fine for me on a clean install.
It's in the police radio now. You should read the documentation first!
Read the documentation, it will tell you everything from how to get started to what to do!

tango21 reacted to Tom S. in LSPDFR 0.4 - Pursuits & InterventionI'll admit, recently I've lost interest in LSPDFR due to frustrating things like incompetent AI and lack of variation in pursuits. However, this does look like a promising update and it makes me want to play it again. I also hope you've addressed the annoying issues in 0.3 like the AI doing u turns on highways and accidentally triggering a pursuit with a random civilian while there is one already active.
