Impossible to go on-duty as the main character now?

Featured Replies

I always played LSPDR as michael with his SAHP uniform, I just pressed F4 and ForceonDuty and played using him instead of random characters at police stations, is that option screwed now? keeps telling me I need to go onduty at a police station and choose a character

Try deleting the custom character in the customization menu in a police station and then opening the RPH console and erasing the previous save outfit (just type "duty" without the quotations and read the description of each command, I don't remember exactly which one you need). It may or may not be your fix.

doesn't work, that's what I've been doing. It keeps saying I must go to a police station and choose a character

If you go on duty and it tells you to create a character, you need to do so once. You can either decide to create your custom character in the Character Menu, or if you prefer playing as Michael directly, you can skip that and just select Preset Characters in that menu. Michael will show up for the LSPD and SAHP and you can choose to play as him directly from the menu.

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

that worked thanks, but when I load the game, it starts with Michael being automatically on-duty with the helmet, then when I go off-duty, helmet goes away like how I had set it up with the previous LSPDFR. Is there anyway I can load the game with Michael being off duty at his original house and if I go on-duty using F4 with RagePlugin, he goes on-duty (without the helmet)? That's exactly how I had it in LSPDFR .3
