Cool new way to stop criminals

Seems like a useful concept, I couldn't imagine it ever seeing the light of day here in the UK purely due to the resistance it would meet. Useful for perhaps slowing someone down but i don't buy the approach of using it as a measure to prevent someone causing themselves harm.

Yea, I don't know how well it would actually work in real scenarios, but I do think it's a pretty interesting invention that could have potential.

When it comes down to it entirely dependent on the scenario i could see it being incredibly difficult to deploy unless the intended target is standing still for long enough. Chances are it would be used in a last ditch effort to stop someone who's running off. Based off experience a taser is likely more effective, after communication and restraining methods have failed.

As good as this seems, there are some people out there that are going to complain about this.

Cool and all but, Currently being in the profession it's probably not the best idea to advertise techniques or technology of our profession/hobby to the public as it gives our adversaries the opportunity to find loopholes and ways to escape our techniques. Just an opinion I thought worthy of sharing.

I completely understand this concept and it's pretty cool and all. But personally I don't think that it'll survive in the real police world. I don't see departments purchasing this although cool idea.

Just like this device it will never see service or get in the hands of any cops.
