When i try to run the installer it says its not compatible with my version of windows (windows 7 64-bit). i've tried changing the compatibility to everything, i've tried running as an admin nothing will work i have C++ and .NET installed too :(

You might want to get Win 7 ultimate. It has the ability to use xp mode.

Ahem... Didn't you read? He has Windows 7 but its a 64-bit Operating System, its got nothing to do with the Ultimate edition and if you read further he has already tried running in compatibility mode.

Anyways, I'm presuming that your PC doesn't have the ability to emulate and run 32-bit applications properly, I had that problem with my old PC and then when I got my new motherboard the issue disappeared, so I'd guess its got to do with your motherboard/system not being able to run 32-bit applications correctly whilst running on a 64-bit OS. Have you tried running the installer on a 32-bit OS yet?

If the problem persists then you could perhaps install the game and LCPDFR on another PC on which the installer works and then simply copy the files over to your PC from the directory.

The pre-release version of Windows 7 shipped with a .NET framework bug that does this -- no fix.

allright guys ive got it working, opened it in winrar and it installed in no time :D

I have the 64-bit Win7, my suggestion would have been run it as an administrator. but you seem to have gotten it fixed.
